@ASL1817 You set your example by pushing the parents with deaf child away from the deaf community. That is something I do not want to see. You don't see many parents involvement in the deaf community...can't you see why?
@dominicerrigo Can't I see whaaayyyy? Look at yourself, Italian trash. You are an example of pushing deaf children away from ASL and schools for the deaf. You believe that oral methods and CIs are the best options for all deaf children. We have way too many of them with delayed education in the last 130 years. Nobody is going to forget your name for years. And, the worst case is that your son later will be blamed the most because of your stupid screenname. Can't you see whaaayyyy?
@ASL1817 CI and Oral is not for EVERYONE. Please do your homework and there are different levels of deafness that can obtain CI or without can be done oral education. If a child cannot react the sounds that they hear, therefore must go into signing world. Every child has different needs.
Our son hears at 10 to 15db range with CI and he is doing well. He also know ASL, too. His first language was ASL and he's bilingual!
@ASL1817 I sense that you have no clue what is like being a parent with a deaf child. Have you meet several audiologists? Have you been to conventions related to hearing healthcare? Have you meet hearing parents with deaf child?
You mention about 130 years...of course that's Deafhood ideology you had in mind. Go figure!
So you bad mouthed italian trash...there you go. You set an example for not compromising the differences. That's why parents took CI or Oral Education away from you.
@dominicerrigo You make too many assumptions, Italian Trash. Of course, I know many hearing parents of deaf children. I too sense you have NO clue how much parents go through with pains from a group of fraudsters that are oral schools and audiologists. Look at your reckless, deceptive, violent actions towards ASL supporters. That's why we took ASL away from you.
@ASL1817 I don't believe you...many parents were forceful and hopeful that this child can speak like them. 50% deaf can speak and 50% can't which should have been placed to ASL program. Most parents refused by seeing other successful deaf spoken language. That was a problem...the biggest word is "ACCEPTANCE" which most parents cannot accept the fact that child cannot speak. It happens quite too often.
This bill AB 2072 gives the option to educate themselves as a parent. To be cont.>>>
@dominicerrigo You don't believe me, and I don't believe you either due to your constant fabrication and violent actions toward ASL supporters. You have no college degrees. None of us believe you.
@ASL1817 It's a win win situation on all parties involved...that means including ASLian community. What we have in Arizona is similar to what AB 2072, many parents go straight to ASDB and meet with other parents to discover what are possibilities for the child's life. Also, ASL classes for the parents have increased enrollment by ten fold in the last 6 years. It's an opportunity for EVERYONE. Arizona is ahead of the game and it's about language accessibility for every child, period.
@dominicerrigo Win-win situation on all parties? That's bullshit, Russell. It is against the U.S. Constitution and our freedom. It's like sending black babies to inspection and referring them to the next level for color skin changes.
Dealing with many communication modes for the deaf is not freedom. Look at yourself. You went to oral schools for years, and you still can't speak well. You remind me of Jabba the Hut.
@ASL1817 So you spent time senseless attacking and I have nothing further to say because you have already set an example to degrade other's freedom. You have no right to enforce and impose...it's time for you to stop.
@dominicerrigo You spent time wasting such senseless explanation how great the bill AB 2072 and all the fabrication out of your imbalanced mouth. It's time for you to stop and attend a sociopathic recovery center near your home to reduce your old habits.
Oh, definitely yes. I totally agree with you on AB 2072. I'm so glad you're bringing up the fact that AB 2072 is PASSED which nobody else would dare come right out and say this on the record!
Absolutely agree with you, I'm so glad the bill is passed. Hooray! Thank you for your faith through all the conflicts and life threatening, keep it up until all states has it passed.
Smirking... You find it funny, Russell?
