Had to come back and hear this again...this song is haunting in a way so many of yours are...I think sometimes you are almost like a female Chris Isaak. You have that same thoughtful style and surfy-sounding lead guitar style.
I have never heard an EVH Wolfgang guitar have such a great, old fashioned sound...I'll bet you'd get a great tone out of a middle-position Telecaster.
This song really makes one think about time. I want to come back and hear this one again...the lyrics are really sobering, Teruko. They remind me of Roy Clark's "Yesterday When I Was Young"...
I love love love it! I want to mention also the beautiful guitar work. It's so haunting and beautiful the melody and very moody! Love your sweet voice so much! You're awesome Teruko my dear!
I like it. You have a way with a song. Your lyrics are very good. It's all about something we've gone thru and understand. Nice guitar and simple folk style. Nice mood with voice and silhouette. :)
but time to listen to this song again and leave a comment: i love this song. the lyrics are really, really good. and the dark video goes very well with it! a milky way of little red stars for you
Really beautiful. The guitar break is just so sweet and the singing is reminiscent of Francois Hardy, Marianne Faithfull with just a little hint of Nico.
Really stylish and a lovely song ... and the video is just right.
I love the guitar part at 2:04...it really stands out in a very good way. Your lyrics are so real and raw and remind me that I need to push forward no matter what the obstacle is up ahead...You are a wise poet, Teruko...Robby ;)
i like the breathy voice...it gives your style a nice late-night feel to it...i also like the overdub guitar... and i also really like the camera shot choice, too... the (dusk?) silhouette totally works.
Hello to you ... I now have another Canadian friend. I am so glad you found me and said hello. The gift of music is a beautiful thing and to share that gift enriches everybody's lives. When the musician and listener are brought together the music is complete and we shall be friends. An excellent video and well worth 5*. Love and peace to you both, Michael.
The music reminds me of the songs Johnnny Cash wrote. Same sort of build-up. The lyrics are very nice. Your voice and the way you are filmed make it a bit mysterious. Very nice song.
