This is my ALL TIME FAV ALBUM !!!!! just returned from New Year in Vegas where I saw the Genuis that Stevie was and still is,waited 40 yrs to see the man in person, AWESOME !!!
@TheDrezden42 ... Only JESUS is JESUS !!! ... and HE is awesome ... I had the pleasure of standing 5 feet away from Stevie while he was recording in the '70;s ... It was in a small recording studio in my home town ... He wanted to buy the studio coz he liked it's sound ... It was very special experience for me. :)
I left Hotel School in 1976... and became the General Manager of a big wine bar in the city. "Songs in the Key of Life" was released as a double cassette, and it was all that our customers wanted to hear 24/7. We wore out 6 casssettes (3 sets of tapes) ...I still have the fourth set, and they still sound good. But I've also got the CD's now.
Stevie is such a timeless and classic "groove"... :)
@jonnibegood1 Some people reading your comment may not know what a cassette is....or vinyl, shame. Have to say, though, I was 3 when this was released but I was raised on Stevie Wonder, amongst others.
@Excretia I wouldn't say it's a shame some people might not know what a cassette tape is, or vinyl for that matter. I grew up on tapes and they were a pain in the ass! People who don't know are lucky they never had to deal with tapes getting eaten, trying to splice broken pieces back together with some scotch tape..or hell...rewinding and fast forwarding. I do know Auto-Reverse was one of the best things to happen to tape players lol...damn I'm old :)
@johnniewalker23 I remember cassettes all too well. I used to spend hours and hours making tapes for my walkmen, and the more they got played, the crappier they sounded. Cassettes sucked - maybe you could turn them up louder than iPods, but that's probably a good thing in that we'll go deaf later rather than sooner. I used to have to decide what I wanted to listen to when I left the house. Now, I can carry all my music (all 111GB of it) around with me. Do I listen to less music? Hell no.
@Lukehaa i was it was better than you can imagine, only problem is i didnt know how good it was at the time. i wish i could go back to the 70s..................

When I first saw Stevie on American Bandstand signing FingerTips Pt1 I knew I would grow up with his Music. His talent is Everlasting. I Love you Stevie.
Wow, I am truly ashamed to say that the first thing I thought when I heard this song was "Hey, it sounds like Will Smith's Wild Wild West song!". I mean, I like some Stevie Wonder songs (Which is how I got here) but I didn't know this was originally his. No wonder Wild Wild West is one of the few songs by Will Smith I like. Not that Will Smith sucks or anything, but now I understand why it was so catchy.
@JackVolnutt why not say it every record Will sold was smapling HUge classics with jazzy Jeff.I mean you can t loose with Stevie. As much as I like himas an actor comedian showman
As soon as the song started I started dancing while sitting. I'm on a train. My neighbor changed place. People are looking me weirdly but I don't give a sh*t cause this music is so cooooool
I love this song. I remember dancing to it in a bar in Kansas City in the 70's . Wow, I searched everywhere to buy the album. My daughter has this song on her ipod now. I must have played it to death and she remembers.
todays music couldn't even touch a great album such as this one. todays music has no real talent at all. this album has evey thing that the so called music of today is sorely lacking
This song is such a classic. But I always miss it when the beat kicks in after the guitar intro. Every time!!!! But this gets me moving and makes me feel good. And, yes, the one person that disliked this needs to be castrated.
The one guy who disliked probably thought he was cool being the first person to dislike this video. Really he's a douche for disliking a video that clearly states what it's going to be.
I put this on my iPod dock as my alarm clock. Since then I have not been late once to class. You cannot just sit in bed and refuse to groove to this song. I MUST groove when I hear this song. And I sleep in a BUNK.
I can't believe Will Smith turned down the role of Neo in the Matrix to bum off a Stevie Classic! Like, don't get me wrong I love Will, actor and rapper, and I like Wild Wild West, but he turned down, the flippin' Matrix?!

Seriously this sort of stuff has to be brought into schools or something and made compulsory and be heard, cause I swear the majority of younger generation's minds at the minute is being fucking polluted by the complete and utter garbage which they call music.
@markybh0y as a student at high school, all i can say is that you are more than right in this matter, people around my age dont know what real music is and its deplorable. I'm currently trying to show these songs to friends of mine, and trust me, i've ''converted'' them to real music(in my opinion of course)
