I actually heard this on 105.7 the Point's new music segment last night...will be shocked if anyone can relate...saw the 'I Melt With You' trailer a couple weeks before that, but didn't notice the song.
He melts down silver loads the gun- she thinks he wants to be with her, but what he really wants is for her to end his life. So he hands her the pistol and she takes his pain away.
I absolutely love this, both the song and the video. I don't know what it is - the cinematography, the melancholy tale, the strangeness, the beautiful soundtrack. But I love this so much, absolutely amazing!
Such an incredibly moving song, it's spectacular. But unfortunately the video doesn't hold up and kinda trivializes the song. Offers no new insight or perspective on what we hear. I thought it worked better in the "I Melt With You" Trailer.
One of my all-time favorites from the Manimal lineup. I've been listening to it repeatedly (and I'll be sure to send this around to pick up some extra hits)
