I can almost remember this word for word. My boys and I watched this so many times, and cracked up every time. Beautiful memories. Thank you for uploading it.
Now that I think about it, I do somewhat remember this clip. The way the woman says things like 'kind of fat,' 'big feet,' and 'I met YOU today!' sounds sort of familiar. No offense, I hope.
This cartoon makes me laugh like crazy, even now. I think it has to do with the woman's voice, and the obviousness of the joke. Anyone know who did it?
@tankgirl73 indeed he did. That's why whenever I heer a Sesame Street sketch with Jim Thurman in it, I always say when I was formerly called KingSlifer, "Mr. Glitch strikes again."
She sounds a bit like Ruth Buzzi. The man is voiced by Jim Thurman (one of the show's writers, and the voice of Teeny Little Superguy). The animation appears to have been done by the same studio that did "The Fisherman & the Clam".
She sounds a little bit like Bea Benaderet. I'm sure it's not her, though; she passed away just as Sesame Street was starting. But it sounds a little bit like Bea doing her old lady voice.
The short, fat guy reminds me of Nomoz fom the Azreal comic book.

That was hilarious! I don't remember seeing that one as a kid. Loved that guy's funny voice.

I think the man in the bubble is voiced by Bob Arbogast.

I knew it was gonna be him the moment the old lady mentioned long hair.

This is classic. How the heck could the guy not figure it out? Haha.

These days, it would be pointless to ask if someone was fat or skinny, because everyone is fat. :)

Could the od lady be June Forray? It sounds a bit like the old lady in the Sylvester & Tweety cartoons, and June does that lady. Great clip!

I wonder if that was Andrea Martin voicing the Old Lady?

No, it's definitely not Andrea Martin. She does sound oddly familiar, though.
