Pug, you woulda appreciated the tractor I witnessed this eve. at the local Safeway, right? Looked like a regular mafk that removes construction rubble with a big ol' antler attached to a friggin' scoopin device...but like much smaller. Tiny-ass ttank treads and everything. What!!!! no JD 4020?? Anybody who knows tractors knows the John Deere 4020 is the #1, the best tractor of all time. I also believe the Jd 4020 was the all time best selling tractor of all time. A record that remains to this day.

Ha! Deere 40. We used a '53 on the farm for ages (and still do) - keep Grandma's 2-acre "garden" (damn near a truck crop...) cultivated with it. Good little machine.

The John Deer's that you said didn't have gaurds are the starters, you open up the pit-cocks and give that fly wheel a good spin and hope she starts and then rush and close the pit-cocks.My gramps had a B that was a hand starter.When I got taller than the flywheel I got to try and start it.

that's what the hell i am saying, mines not an antique yet I have a GT242 from 1992 lol that pto air compressor was sweet. I used to drive my grandfathers 47 international farmall with the tipped in front wheels. knosing it killed him i feel stupid for getting on it now though. you can buy those tracks for pretty much any tractor check out ebay. the 5010 you could make your own trail hell with it, that's one of those that goes anywhere it wants to, no questions.
