hi, I have the Compustar 2W900FMR-3A with auto-start on a manual transmission and sometimes the auto-start wont work, I hear clicking sounds under the dash and the alarm chirp sounds weak (like if its dying) What do you think it is ?
@edgar5001 It is possible that there is a bad ground or power connection to the remote start brain itself.. If you are in the area we would be happy to service it for you!

yes there would be a charge if we had to get into the vehicle but i would suggest if you are able to come in we would take a quick look with no charge to see what is going on... We are a Compustar Authorized Dealer and we have parts and remotes if need be to replace..
@edgar5001 If we didnt do the original install we have to charge for labor.. Compustar has an excellent warranty program and im sure if you contacted them they would be able to help you out if you needed replacement parts.
I have this model; it's great! Driver's Side installed it as well, and did a great job (as always)!
Just one question, Evan mentions that the AAA battery in the back of the two-way remote has a life of 5 to 6 months.
I have to replace mine about every month. Is this due to a problem with my remote?
