Even fantasia admitted on AI that she knew Jennifer was her biggest competition to win and everyone was afraid of her voice then too. Keep making fun of her wardrobe and looks to cover up the fact her voice is better haters.
This is TRADITIONAL to sing it this way and not the BLACK way that Fantasia did. It's the truth, and Beyonce sang it with soul too. Listen to Whitney sing this and she delivers just like JHUD. Long powerful notes through and through.

Thats was wonderful, don't care what anyone says. She did and excellent job, she kind of did one of Whitney's notes though, but man was it good. Gave me chills. Almost like when Whitney did it. Love it! Bravo (clapping) LOL

In my opinion, Tasia was the best. Jen is okay. Too me see sound like any other singer. She is just too original. I have heard it before. She puts way too much in it. I'm glad she stopped bucking her eyes like she did on American Idol.

Jennifer wins!! Once again, Fantasia added on way too many gospel frills and screams to a traditional song. Every song should not be turned into Sunday morning devotion lol. Jennifer's version was natural and she proves she dont have to do all the added extra's to make her voice standout. Look out for my girl playing Aretha in her upcoming biopic.

Everyone has their own style. Jennifer ain't Fantasia and Fantasia ain't Jennifer! For that reason, Im grateful. Veriety is good. Fantasia needs to go to church and get in it because even through her music, she can't hide what God has instilled in her. She needs to totally surrender! But I digress. They are both awesome

i'd have to agree with whomever says that fantasia's version is better. she stayed in her natural voice the whole time where jen hud had to go falsetto on certain parts. they do have diff kinds of voices. fantasia's version was better than beyonce's too but beyonce is a lil more creative then both. overall. fantasia wins in my book
