they are speaking portuguese from Brasil. they are truck drivers and are talking about a poor region called Pará, extreme north of Brasil.

Hi ! Yes,of course,i can listen to this kind of transmissions with the receivers rubber duck antenna.I live in the south of Spain and the signal with other antennas is nice.Try with a better antenna and beam it to the south of your location.Thanks

I just noticed that my receiver has a "hole" between 174-406Mhz so it can not receive that frequency, but I was already looking for a slightly more advanced model.

hi mi friend,,,yes,i think you can hear this frequencies.Try to put your scanner on 255.550 Mhz FM and scan arround this frecs.I'm sure you can hear something interesting.Greetings.

Hi! I don't know if you can recive this satellite in your location,but try to scan between 240-270 Mhz FM,there are a lot of geostationary sats like this,that you can hear.Greetings.

Icom IC-R5. Much better performance and you will get mutch more signals recieved with an Icom than an Alinco. And Icom IC-R5 have a much better sound quality. I have got an IC-R5 myself and love it. =) Wonderful scanner.
