@TOSportsFan1990 no football is an American sport I guarantee. Football first started in the 1930s and the was when NFL and AFL existed. I know football didn't exist before that. Baseball, Basketball and Football are our sports.
@NFLization The Toronto Argonauts (a CFL team) were formed in 1873. The NFL was formed in 1920 and the AFL was formed in 1959. Please do a little research before "guaranteeing".
@NFLization Wow...so a bunch of guys just said "Lets invent this new sport called football and make the NFL which will be the most popular sport in the U.S. in a matter of a few years". Football was developed based on rugby, which has been played since the early 1800's. So suck it
@TOSportsFan1990 First of all rugby was played much differently back then cause that was when the U.S was 20 years old. Yes I know football is based off of rugby but the only thing they have in common is the ball, tackling and the points.
@NFLization no need to hate so much man. Both countries invented the game. In 1874 both McGill University (in Quebec) and Harvard had almost the same modified Rugby rules (the "Boston game" and "McGill game") and the schools played eachother a bunch of times that year with the two rulebooks and the rest is history. After more rule changes, the "McGill game" is now Canadian Football, and the "Boston game" is now American Football.
@NFLization ..the USA's population is 10 times that of Canada. The fact that we are fewer than California alone and have 8 (soon to be 9) teams in our league is not bad really.
@TOSportsFan1990 Why isn't it called Canadian football. It's called Gridiron American Football. That's the full name. If you named it AMERICAN Football, you'd actually need our permission and we need permitted something like that.
Montreal is (unofficially) a bi-lingual city, you fucking tard. Montreal has been in pretty much every Grey Cup this decade, even though they've only won one, but that's because Anthony Calvio is the worst clutch Quarterback in CFL history.
Argo's = Worst team in professional football by far..
who cares its week 4 you'll be humbled when you lose to us both games this year, and when you lose to montreal this week! We will beat Edmonton this week for sure we sell out every game we make more $ than anyone you make prolly least money u suck
If A.C. is aging, he sure didn't show any of it in this game. He shredded the Hamilton defence and the time of possession likely meant they were exhausted.
I'm afraid the penalties and turnovers that plagued the Ti-Cats last year haven't gone away.
It's so cool to see Canada play our sport.

@NFLization Actually gridiron football was invented in Canada. So, it should be...

Nice one bro.
Sorry do we not have the same records?
And looking at the stats Riders Points for 84 against 103
Hamilton for 73
against 71, think being positive in that category is alot better than negative?

Excellent win for the Alouettes, and big congratulations to Anthony Calvillo for passing Danny McManus.
Ti-Cats REALLY need to improve their defensive game. Having the ball for only 20 minutes will NOT help them win games, as it shows here.
