  • I'm trying to turn my 2004 pc into a good gaming computer for $400...i think ima fail >.> any help you an give?

  • @DaZombieBear Some advice. Wait and try to save about 200 bucks more for it and you can probably build completely new PC thats really solid.

  • @DaZombieBear well youll def have to change motherboard psu cpu and graphics card..so buy a 100 MOBO buy a 100 PSU buy a amd cpu like the 3 core one thats like 60 bucks and itll fare alright and MOBOS will be cheap for it and you have 140 for a graphics card which is like a 6870 or a 6850 so youll be alriht pm me ill help you out with parts and all that..

  • I am afraid to build my own computer because I might fuck up the pc. But I might try it goes my CPU sucks BADLY.

  • @irock32306 I know its scarey as I recently built my first myself. However if you get by your fears I will tell you its totally worth it. You definately get more bang for your buck and learn more about what goes into a pc. Just do research and watch newegg's how to build a pc video's.

  • nice cable-management

  • i bought my pc for 1150 € :D

  • I got a $560 gaming laptop in the high end, better than a lot of the so called "gaming pc's"

    Core i7 Quad Core 2670

    AMD Radeon 6770m 1GB Graphics

    8GB RAM

    1TB HDDR

    teehee

  • @RussianSpetsnaz01 wow all that for $560. good price. what laptop is that anyways?

  • @ipwn3r123 HP dv6-6173cl, its $900ish new but i bought it off of craigslist

  • Hey I just built my first gaming computer here are the specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640

    GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260

    4 GB OF RAM

Please reply to say if these specs are good or not.

  • @Elaganite low-mid range, not that good

  • @RussianSpetsnaz01 Hey dude is there any good stuff that you could recommend my budget is $500.

  • @Elaganite Just look up some stuff on craigslist or ebay. If you find something you like buy it. Make sure the proccesor and the graphics are good, thats what i look at the most.

  • @Elaganite yea for 500 you cant get much to build a decent non gaming pc itll cost that much new unless you buy fucked up computers and part them out

  • great job amazing pc

  • whahaha, my cpu costs twice as much as your pc =o

  • what a shit box. poor guy my caculator has a better prozessor

  • If you wake up one day and smell smoke, you know where it's from. You need to organize those wires. :P

  • my cpu cost 8 times as much as thihs loool

  • my case costs 200$

  • my dad has that pc xD but it has agp and intel extreme graphics LMFAO

  • wow 2 words, CABLE MANAGEMENT!

  • everyone starts off somewhere, but you should really upgrade your videocard to a gtx550. it will help alot.

  • master, teach me your ways

no srysly, how the hell did you pull this one off

  • my pwr supply costs 150

  • @ThePunjabhe Mine 289 :)

  • Can you run AION High quality engine max graphics with no lag? Very specific question but...

  • can u please send me the complete specs, thx!!

  • i seen heat damage on your motherboard

  • Thats sick! finally someone who understands the term "budget"

  • haha its still way better then xbox

  • PLEASE tell me where you get that.

  • OH BOY DATA RIBBON HAHAAH NOSTALGIA.

  • i wouldent call that a gaming pc....

  • reading the manufacture label even tho the pc is opened up lol

  • And how well does it run World of Worldcraft?

  • @HecTicTmmr prolly extremely well, doesnt take much to run

  • Can you send me the parts list? I'm looking to do the same thing.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • my phone is more expensive :l

  • with my $150 budget I can only buy the damn case with a power supply >__< this makes me jelly

  • @IIpcgamerII Asus M2A-VM

  • @IIpcgamerII a stock one

  • build a real p.c. you can do it for like 560$ and it will run latest games on high with out lag.

what you got it might be able to handle san andreas with a little lag

  • @BBuzzy8 You see, eventually you gotta start paying bills, and then you can't afford to buy high end parts.

Also, you clearly didn't watch the entire video. I'm sure I can handle San Andreas if I can handle Crysis and Resident Evil 5.

  • @l33tpete go to school get a REAL job then u can buy a high end computer and still pay the bills btw dont ever mention overclocking with that computer EVER

  • @l33tpete try going to school and getting a real job

  • @l33tpete ikr crysis takes shit loads to play on

  • @l33tpete I'm 15 and don't get a lot ofmoney, I manage with a shit pc, upgrading later on in hte year though ti a nice new pc for about £450

  • @KaegonTheGamer what pc?

  • @CPUProgrammerX its custom built. so amd fx quad core, 8gb ram, gt550ti 1gb, asrock mid-high end mobo, nice case with nice cooling, 600w psu

  • @KaegonTheGamer get i5 2500k bro its best for budget. Its the same as i7 2600k frames per second in almost evry game bench marked for 100$ or more less. Better than any AMD except expensive ones trust.

  • @gamefan4071 you say that.. but i want to le tobuy more than the pc, i want to hopefully get a new monitor, desk and chair too.. for around £600 which I can do

  • @KaegonTheGamer In the long run, I am confident you think the I5 was a better choice. It might cost 200$ more than computer you plan on getting though, but trust me you get what you pay for that's for sure.

  • @gamefan4071 i suppose i could save up some extra money before i buy....

  • @l33tpete you see a $560 pc is no where near high end. that would be entry level

  • @BBuzzy8 my Pentium dualcore and HD2600 256MB RAM can run san andreas..

  • @ieatfirepies OH WOW COOL THAT MUST BE SOOO FUN RUNING IT AT 5 FPS FUCK

  • @atom608 60+frames.......

  • @ieatfirepies 256mb ram? Oh My God....

  • @XxAutumnSniperxX I know right, with that im pretty sure even internet explorer would lag XD

  • @BBuzzy8 he is right, once you start having to pay your own bills, its kind of hard to get the expensive stuff.

  • @BBuzzy8 What kind of computer can play Crysis but not play san Andreas without lag?

  • @BBuzzy8 Lmao

  • p.o.s.

  • what partrs is in that

  • Ohhh you got the RAM free ?

  • its a mess in there!!

  • guys if u say it was xp

  • can it run minecraft? on high with no lag?

  • Your kidding me? This is a piece of shit...This make my laptop look good... xD...and for everyone who refereed to Alienware...You need to either learn more about computers or spend your money more wisely...

  • @JeremyWil100 You do not have to be such an elitist dick.

  • Comment removed

  • someones gotta teach me how to build one if got a hp pavillion one of the newer models tough

  • i want one =3

  • Amazing for the price. Just my graphics card costed 4x more than that PC.

  • 1440x900 no shit....a potato could play a game at that res.

  • deamn my laptop is better then taht

  • now thats one real budget pc

  • @TheJimmyman888 yes its good but i prefer a intel/nvidia combo more stabel

  • amd sucks

  • >:( I REALLY NEED A GOOD GAMING COMP I GOT A CRAPPY PC

  • Don't hate on the Athlon, best processor in it's price range.

  • i spent roughly 150$ to get 2 extra ram gigs and a new gfx card (nvidia geforce gt 430) it runs very nicely, Mass Effect 2 at roughly 40-50 fps.

  • im impressed with the performance in crysis. Good budget pc!

  • try intel pentium 2 3.2ghz@3.90 whit geforce 6800 xfx extreme 2.5gb ram end windows 7

very high fps in call of duty modern warfare 2

  • @giannis999999999 an intel integrated 3000 graphics card can run cod mw2

  • @TheGenesisfreak yes i try it in a core 2 duo laptop but it sucks

  • @giannis999999999 yeah, but it's integrated so you shouldn't expect much.

  • @TheGenesisfreak whats your system??

  • @giannis999999999 no im just saying it can run mw2 by itself

  • @TheGenesisfreak yes but whit very low fps....

  • If you do anything to upgrade your rig look into getting an SSD. It will be the single best upgreade you have ever done. Your performance will skyrocket. They have Sata2 and Sata3 SSd's. But seeing as you have a DDR2 boards and you most likely do not have 6 GBS SATA opt for a Sata 2 SSD. 2-3 times as fast as an HDD

  • will this max out tetris?

    specs-potato

    monitor resolution-10x5

  • @AdolfHitlerGaming I would say w/o the onion your lookin at playin @ 202032803820392X498937858-05478-084397

  • @lamiac2411 well, i was thinking about getting a Stelarcomm 2000 onion, but that would be over my 2 dollar buget.

  • WALMART BAGS :D

  • dude, i have a Case alot like that at the moment, i needed a Gaming PC since a long time.

now i think i can actually use this as a case.

hey, do you think you can message me all the parts you added so i can do the same?

i am in desparate need of a gaming PC

  • @PinoyPogiman Depending on what you've already got it dosn't take much to do little upgrades, Start with your RAM and Graphics Card, Nowaday I'd say 4 Gigs is the min, I'd say 8 Gigs of Dual Channel DDR3 isn't that expensive only around 40 bucks or so. When it comes to graphics cards and upgrading a stock computer don't go big. I upgraded my moms old HP with a AMD Radeon 6570 which has very solid performance.

  • @Kingjay814 well, i took out the old Motherboard since its pretty much seen better days in a 10-11 year of unuse.

so somewhat an MSI/ Asus Micro-ATX Mobo will do.

its getting some of the stuff thats gonna cost me alot...

plus getting a new power supply, this actually totaled over 400$ on Tigerdirect,com...

  • @Kingjay814 and dont forget, i need to also buy Win7... to be future proof..

  • @PinoyPogiman You should try going though Newegg.com depending on what your looking at down I have a full on build I can send to you. It's what I would consider a "Casual" build. It's packs a bigger punch than your standard off the shelf computer, but not quite as much as a more advanced build would be. All in all it's about $450, but if you have a case, HDD, and Disk drive already that's gonna knock the overall cost down some.

  • @PinoyPogiman don't forget Newegg sales

  • @9001milktoast yea, but i kind of dislike Newegg and Ebay in that particular reason that its USED.

but because i am still trying to get the parts i need first, Mobo, OS. RAM.

then ill move on to finding sales for a good Graphic card and such

  • thumbs up if your graphics card cost more then this pc!

  • not bad for $150. fortunately with AMD part you could really ramp this up for still cheap. thumbs up

  • I spend 1200 bucks on a hp in 2010 and It can't even run halo 2.

It's a fukn shame the way they cheat us out our money.

Hey mate if it would be possible for you to sell me a pc please let me know

  • @clrhilla thats sir is why you dont buy hp computers they suck.

  • @clrhilla

halo 2 might be lagging because your getting too many fps and it's causing vertical shearing (try forcing Vysnc on at 60fps in either you Nvidia, ATI or intell HD graphics control panel)

  • @mrshzzit1 I'm blocking you. Go spew your grammatical diarrhea somewhere else.

  • honestly, not trollin, hp cases are garbage.

  • Is that a asus m2a-vm motherboard? I have the same one.

  • Should have gone ATi for a value rig.

  • is this just a fun project or is it your main pc?

  • Man I had the same thing and I smashed it i didnt know it could run games like bf3

  • @Plainman40 It cant without upgrades.

  • challenge accepted.

  • 150 dollars that wont even buy my case :( ...i need to know do you steal this stuff?

  • @UnbOuNdPWneR1 he said $150 budget, so he did not steal, he did say he got stuff for free and you can get cheap PC parts off of newegg or ebay, and bid websites

  • LOLOL you make me laugh, ddr2 in 2011? 440? LOLOLOL i would consider that a 2006 poor people pc. dam your funny.

  • @ShiroKado he obviously stated its a $150 budget

  • @funman2100 then its obviously not a gaming machine. u dont just call every cheap computer a gaming machine. most people would agree that to be a gaming machine u should atleast have the power of the hd 5770 MINIMUM.

  • @ShiroKado ur comment is what gives pc gamers bad names.

  • @boggerman4352 lmao bad names? its just like poor people calling rich people stupid and uneducated. stop being mexicans and buy a decent PC. i can run battlefield 3 on medium, or mw3 on max settings with just 500 flippin dollars.

  • @ShiroKado id flame you bad but that would make me look like a 10 year old.

  • @boggerman4352 i know right? god dam mexican. get back to plowing fields.

  • @ShiroKado as he stated IT GETS THE JOB DONE. No one gives a shit what you consider.

  • dude :D you make me laugh!

  • @giannis999999999 and a 500gb sata ii harddrive

  • Comment removed

  • @smashstuff1 lol not nice to call people comps crap. everyone buys what the can and hey they do well and people are proud of their builds. MY build - core i7-875k unlocked 3.33Ghz EVGA GTX 560 TI DS 8GB DDR3 1600mhz Windows 7 Ultimate (same as professional basically) HAF 922 MId Tower CASE Corsair H50 cpu water cool 500GB +2TB HArd drives SAmsung Blu ray drive and more stuff. i make a video on it soon. I love it but even i know its not the greatest :P
  • so how much was the computer and the upgrade together?

  • i would mod the pc case if i were u but nice rig ;)

  • HOLY CRAP thats how much it costs to look at a alienware

  • My Gaming mouse and keyboard cost more than this... wut?

  • i have the same PC and it Costed 2000$ and i bought it like 2 years ago

  • reason I say that is if the psu goes out, which eventually it will it can ruin all all or some of your computers hardware

  • you need a new PSU, dynex is a tier 5 power supply which is the worst.

  • Pure bullshit...the $150 price tag you set on it, is bullshit. Unless you bought the parts brand new/OEM at best, and if someone can find it at a similar price from an retailer/e-tailer, it doesn't count. And it's not from 2004, it's from 2008. I can do a similar thing and say "look at dis new PC I got for free, coz I robbed my next door neighbours, my bang/buck PWNS you", or "look at this 360 I got for $80 from a pawn shop".

  • damn my graphics card needs 600 watts

  • Wat motherbaord/processor and card u runnin on it?

  • Absolutely amazing, not only for the price, but for your first project.

it is, was it is. as you said. it gets the job done!

  • Hey is that the ecs gt 440?

  • @JustViewingUrVids No, PNY. They're still pretty much the same card. The only difference between manufacturers is the cooling fan (and sometimes the core clock. Sometimes companies sell their cards overclocked out of the box.)

  • @l33tpete you know the 4870x2 is on sale for $150 at tigerdirect

  • @superclaw900 I never really was much for ATI's video cards. In my experience, they run just as good as Nvidia cards... They just produce more heat.

  • @l33tpete they're made to run that hot and the 4870x2 is most likely twice or three times as fast as the 440

  • @l33tpete

    both:nvidia and Ati are good.

and ati doesn't produce more heat.

    ati:+performance(new 7xxx series)-a bit expensive

    nvidia:-performance(compared 580gtx and 7xxx series,i think 7970) +lower price

    that's the thing.

(sorry if i typed something wrong,my english isn't so good)

  • @l33tpete The hottest cards are in the nVidia 4xx series and the 590

  • @JonasAndStuffDK95 I wouldnt say that i have the Asus matrix 580 and i put it through hell i have 2 monitor on one monitor ill play far cry and on the other ill put on a blu ray movie and theres no heat issues at all...i have a water cooled rig and it makes no sense to convert the card to watercooled id just be wasting money...

  • @DWcriticism i said the 590, not the 580. Also, you have an aftermarket cooler for your 580. I was talking about the cards the wau they are right from the beginning of its release.

Any card can run cool with two fans and a new heatsink.

  • @l33tpe Sorry to say your wrong both cards run 45nm technology that produce less heat to a point running water cooled isnt necessary...Sense Ati came out with the 5000 series there has never been any heat issues.
