Exodus 32 is not mistaken, people who assume they know its meaning applying preconceived notions to the words are mistaken. People of the US and of the "world" have elected leaders and returned to the bondage of Egypt even though God said not to. Numbers 14:4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
Deuteronomy 17:16 ...nor cause the people to return to Egypt, ...forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
Exodus 32 cannot be mistaken for anything else but what it says. There may be other applications to it but holy KJB says that they melted the golden calf and they worshipped what they could see rather than what they could not see in the one who delivered them (God) from Egypt and the devil and that's what they did.
Has anyone noticed Queen Elizabeth no longer wears a crown upon her head on Canadian money since 2006. All public buildings have the Queen's portrait & name written in Upper & Lower case letters now, they used to be in all capital letters indicating bondage. She declared jubillee in 2002 for Canada. The original Virginian Charter was from 1606 to 2006, four hundred years of indebtedness ended. Money is debt, the debt was wiped, hence America's finacial collapse.
