I don't know the tune but I see there's more than one version on YouTube. Send me the YouTube reference for the one you're thinking of, or send me an mp3 as an attachment to lanemalcolm@gmail.com and I'll take a look at it.
OK. Diatonic harmonicas have 10 holes, 2 reeds per hole, one draw and one blow. There are now many specialised types but I tend to use basic Hohner Marine Bands or Hohner Blues Harps. Lee Oscars are also popular but there are many other kinds. Start with one instrument, either a C or a D, but if you play with other instruments you'll need one for each key the other musicians are playing in. Cost is probably around 30 USD (I live in New Zealand so I'm not sure).
"Find out which harmonica you need." How many are there? Is there like a "set?" Or... do you buy them as you go along? I want to "invest" in the right one/s, I don't want to keep "buying better" one/s. It would seem kind of pointless to only buy one and be "tied down" to fewer songs. No? Thanks:)
So, I have just now hit "one day!" Most of what you said in this video is greek to me;) FOR NOW! lol
I don't know what the difference is between the Diatonic or other types:( I have no idea what brand or key or type of harmonica to buy. I know I want to play this style (as well as others). Do I start with this style? How much should I expect to pay for a decent harmonica? I got a cheap little "snoopy" one from Walmart a while back to goof around with and just now looking for tutorials:) tnx:)
Bloody well done Malcolm. I feel I'm slightly weak on blues but can play simple blues. Something I plan to investigate more. Very nice playing - you're a virtuoso.

I'm not actually sure as to whether there is a diatonic harmonica for every possible key. There are 12 possible in theory.

@BentNote99 How many different key notes are there for the harmonica?
