  • There NEVER, not NOW or EVER, be another First Lady Like Mrs. Kennedy...There have been a few fakes, who think, wearing a fake flower, makes her elegant....Believe me, you would NEVER have seen J.K. looking like a field hand!!!!!

  • I didn't know his parents were still alive after his death.

  • she was so pretty.

  • @johnvena56 Amen My friend. We Forever Love and Bless Mrs. Kennedy in the heavens and aswell Mr. Kennedy we Will cherish you both in our hearts making sure No one forgets the real Royalty JFK Gave us, The fashion and the truly kind words and actions Mrs. Kennedy brought to us. God Bless you both. We love you.

  • Important message @ 3:20. Think about it, cause the NWO is closing in !

  • man shes so hotttt.

i want wife like her,or girlfriend or whatever...

  • As one old American, I wish there were more like her today.

  • Classy dame!

  • she apparently was born in America....but she clearly has a spice of British accent in her utterance ...i suppose this is what is known as the "old American" accent..or is it?if this accent was common those days then the American accent must've changed so much all these years...

  • @poralentierno she spoke french fluently, as well as spanish and I think Danish? So it could be why she has an accented voice and with her living in the Northeast as well, they have different accents as well, I have to say I love the Kennedy's accents.

  • @bsbncandey She does speak good french. She spoke Spanish.

  • @poralentierno

It's known as the trans-Atlantic accent, I believe. Many actresses other other well-known women spoke with it durung this time.

  • This really helps on my report due tomarow!!!!!!!!!! I'll give ya 5 stars thanx

  • The trash of today should watch clips of this lady over and over and over and over............and then pray just to have a 1/3 of her sophistication, beauty, and intellect.

  • You can really hear the pain in her voice. She had such a sense and appreciation of history and culture and civility.

  • Jackie was my neighbor on Cape Cod. She was as down to earth as they come. Not at all pretentious, always with a smile as she walked by, said hello to everyone...really very simple and charming. She wasnt full of herself and had very much the personality of her children, especially John. If anything I hope she will be most remembered for all Ive mentioned and for the elegance and preservation of history that she brought to our beloved country.

  • @wiannoboy ... if we had more women like her, this world would be 10-fold better.

  • @wiannoboy how tall was her

  • @TheDudleyheathens I read somewhere she was 5' 9" I am nor sure if that was correct though.

  • I love her voice. It is a lot different than the southern accent I am used to hearing. I understand how she could easily change her voice though. I have noticed over the past couple of years that I alternate between a really southern accent and then something along the lines of what one may call normal. It is so easy and unoticable when you switch accents.

  • Absolutely critic-proof goddess of a woman. A real LADY. Elegant, beautiful, classy. I could listen to her voice ALL DAY. Closest America has ever come to a Princess or a Queen since its independence. Bless you ma'am. May you rest in peace.

  • She had never looked sexier. It must of been the love she was feeling for Bobby Kennedy. Oh the sordid, shallow world of the rich and powerful :)

  • She was our only Princess, and there will never be another, God rest her soul.

  • I will never forget that still shot of Jackies face, as a bullet blew her husbands head off, and she percieved it. It couldnt have happened to a more lovely person than her, and I know the wrath of God has, and is, avenging her, for God has said, "vengance is Mine, I will repay, saith the Lord"

  • In order to describe her, one must search deep, especially if you are a man. Those of us who remember her, and JFK, one day we will be gone and the world will never know the grace and glory of such a pair as they. Jaqueline Kennedy had every good and sweet thing living in her heart and soul, until the day they killed her husband. I can hardly bear it, to this day.

  • This beautiful lady was the closest thing this country will ever have to royalty. Such poise, elegance and grace. How lucky we were to have her represent our country as first lady, even if it was for such a short time.

  • She had the most graceful voice. She must have sung a beautiful lullaby.

  • @JDUB73EB Actually it has been written in many places she was actually tone deaf and couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. But I think everything else makes up for that one deficiency.

  • like the way she talked

  • What?

  • Thank you so very much--so far fifty has been good to me, as it has also been to Madonna and I have no complaints whatsoever. It's nothing to be scared of unless one allow it to be. I believe that twomanytwomuch is actually a man who fails to behave as a gentleman at his advanced age. I love Georgia dear..spent many a day at your campus, many a day in Athens..tooks many classes at UGA and know tons of Georgian Alumni!

  • I was not alive back then...but she was the best. Very soft spoken and strong at the same time.

  • She was a beautiful LADY, inside and out; and she put up with a HECK of a lot, also from JFK; but thankfully, didnt have to live to see her only son go too.(Yes, she deserved MUCH better.)

  • What a beautiful voice she had. She was beautiful herself, as was and is Caroline.

  • She was and will live on as America's Queen.

What has happened to the American accent over the decades? I love her accent and tone.

  • yeah, this is a totally different american accent than today's version

  • She had a soft Brooklyn accent I think.

  • I think it sounds a bit like Virginia Tidewater. Like she had it, but maybe she tried to drop it slightly. Theres a hint of it.

  • @mazakman1957 She had a slight lisp. But still a very soothing and classy voice

  • she was born and raised in the Hamptons

  • Jackie Kennedy to this very day was a very elegant, cultured lady that doesn't deserve criticism. She single-handedly brought elegance back to the White House.

  • Her speaking voice is sort of surprising. Not that I expected her to sound like a fish wife, but it always is a little surprising to hear such a breathy voice. I've read that this was a manner of speaking she turned on and off. You're right. She does not deserve criticism.

  • Agreed....

The SHARP contrast with Hillary Clinton is like night and day, or maybe good & evil...

  • eegaaanncee? What is that? Are u trying to make fun of the word elegance? Why?...Because you don't know what it is. You say she needs to sound more natural. Natural according to you? She had a very soft spoken soothing voice. Like I said, if it bothers you, call your mama.

Jacqueline Kennedy was a wonderful First Lady.

  • What can possibly run through your thin mind to critique such a women?

  • My guess is not much

  • Exactly!

  • I think of one's husbands brains were blown all over them, and they were trying to hold the rest i his scull, they'd be a little out of it for a while. Its as good a reason as any to hit the sauce or pop pills. Don't you think?

  • sHeS pRETTy...,

    i LiKe hER...,

sHe's oNe oF thE gReATeST fiRsT LAdY iN nAtion's hiSToRY.....

  • Man, she was beautiful, I never saw this film. Yes, it is her voice, the same one you can hear in her 1962 tour of the White House. This is fascinating. Thank you for posting it.

  • That is her normal voice you dolt! It's Ok though, I understand that you've been listening to your mama squawking like Roseanne Barr your whole life so you wouldn't know culture and elegance if it slapped you in the face.

  • I think she sounds lovely and clear although somewhat sad.

Considering what she had been through, maybe when asked to speak of her husband, she did take something to calm herself. She suffered from depression for years after his death.

The world during her time, adored her and very much enjoyed hearing her speak.

Maybe you like your women loud and crass and consider that pleasant.

It doesn't mean Jackie sounds unnatural. It's all in what you're used to.

  • No son you're right I don't know what a date rape drug is. I've heard about that evil process on the news though.

Since you mention what a lady sounds like on it, does that mean you've partaken in that practice?

    Shame on you!

Because you've had a mother screaming at you to get out of her face? Maybe the reason you have a problem with cultured women.

Oh and u wrote eeeellll eeegaaance. That is two words hee hee. for the junior high school grads. Just ribbin ya!

  • Laura Bush speaks softly but it's louder. Less monotone. Rosalynn Carter had a very pleasant voice, but it wasn't slurred and mousy. Jackie simply needed to not whisper and draw it out. Thats all. I never said she had to yell. Or squawk. But I forgot, people never read on these message boards. It would tax their brain. I read "A Woman Named Jackie" and I recall them mentioning that her voice was fake. That it was different and she was asked many times to speak in a normal voice.

  • A Woman Named Jackie? written by the female Kitty Kelley. Quoting Heymann as if he was a David McCullough or Lawrence Wright? hmmm...

Might as well get your info from the National Enquirer.

Wow I'm really worried now. The future of our country...hee hee...date rape drugs and C. David Heymann. No, don't tell me...you attend Harvard right? NYU? Maybe Colombia law school?

Not your fault, but you're a perfect example of what's happened to our education system.

  • I remember as a child when this couple went into office...this was the voice she used speak to the country, it was quiet, calm and lovely. Everyone loved her, loved that voice that oozed class and culture. At the age of five I recognized wonderful sound. Say what you will, I was there and she will be remembered by me as the best first lady in my own lifetime--with Laura Bush running a close second. Roselyn Carter was gracious showing consideration to the economic situation of the country.

  • Damn, how old are you?

  • I was in kindergarten when Kennedy was shot

  • Damn, you must be old then.

  • Damn straight I am...same age as Madonna, and JFK's daughter Caroline..and lots of others...take good care of yourself, your not far behind me love.

  • THE MOST elegant and classy woman, the United States has ever known.

  • Utter loveliness.

  • I'm sure they hate you too. Bitch.

  • u really need to stop, its my opinion.ite

  • You're going to hope that "God continues to curse" (kill) Kennedys, and then tell someone they "need to stop" because they call you a bitch?

Pease, malubabii. I hope you wrap your car around a tree at 80 mph while not wearing a seatbelt. I hope you fly through the windshield, slicing your body into bloody ribbons, before you break your neck upon landing on the pavement. I hope you slowly die there, with nobody to help you as you try to scream for help, but it only comes out a whisper.

  • damn, that's gory ,dude.....and rather detailed.....

  • Why insult someone who gave so much to America? Would you want some stranger to insult, and wish death on your parents?

    Your comments are a disgrace...

  • satanic troll

  • You're heartless!

  • wonderful voice sweet and sopihisticate !

What a beautiful First Lady , a reference for the rest of the world

  • What a wonderful and very eloquent first lady. I really enjoyed the tour and she brought a great ideas of keeping the American history. By the way, I love the charming way she is speaking, and her astonishing voice. Ms. Jackie always have my respect and thank you for the great change you made in the White House! Thank you helmer for posting this videos.

  • Jackie was so classy and cultured

  • Wow where did u find this? This is so cool..Jackie's voice is really pretty!

  • wow.. jackie's voice is beautiful!

  • Thanks for sharing this. It's sad though, guy should have been around another 5 years.
