180 and 190 hp for the w and x 4.3l v6s and each around 230 tq...not sure which ones which cuz i forgot but that's what it is...stock.

why a 4.3 vortec is the same as a 350 just to ciliders lobbed off and you can make the same power

actually the 4.3 liter is much different from the 350.

4.3 is a v6. 350 is a v8. the vortec 4.3 is just like a small block 350 minus 2 cylinders. as far as making the same power, ha...good luck. the 4.3 doesnt even make 200hp stock.

it wasnt once a 350 but the bore is the same. Minus cylinder 3 and 6.

The vortec 262 can use the same internals as most 350 models of that year.. not including the cam and crank.

well tbi didnt make 200 stock

CPI spider system however did make 200hp off the lot.(to the wheels)

but only 12% of the s10s(2nd gens) are W codes..

and hp doesnt win races torque does ;)(refferring to drag racing)

can easily make a 4.3 run a low 11 1/4 mile.

there is one that does actually its an extreme, look it up on youtube.

Actually 4.3s never made 200hp off the lot... the highest hp produced of the lot was the 1995 - 4.3 V6 CPFI with 195hp and 260ft lbs of torque according to wikipedia (thats excluding the typhoon and cyclone which came with turbo charged 4.3s). And I'm not sure what you mean by "easily" making a 4.3 run 11s...unless you consider a v8 swap easy.

my stock zq8 s10(2003) runs a 15.7 quarter mile stock well i have a k&n airfilter but otherwise stock. also came with a locking differential

i put cherry bomb turbo 2 on my 4.3 and it didnt make much difference. it rumbles a little when it ideals but wheni get on it just makes air whistleind sound yours sounds great

Take it off, the previous owner had one on mine, ripped it off today, left the pipe on from the cat to the bomb and it sounds so bad ass. Take it off and just listen to the bad ass sound it makes. Cherry Bombs are cheap shit anyways. Try with just the cat, you won't be disappointed.

Sounds like a dumped Flowmaster. The best sound I found for the 4.3 was a dumped Super Turbo, if you dont mind interior resonace
