  • ----->>> Put some spice into your virtual life. As much as you dare at Seducity!!! Seducity (dot] com

  • LOL. to all the people just seeing this. The tech has been around since the 90's. You can get the various softwares for free in most case, & no you don't need any high tech hardware. Crappy PC's as well as cams less than 5 yrs old as will work fine in most cases. It just takes some understanding & no how to get whatever software you're using to work for your needs.

  • Maybe they could do this with GPS. Then GPS co-ordinates are the "hash" so to speak which downloads the desired image (or video, or link or whatever).

You know, this would work awesome with video glasses. They cost less now too.

I wonder how items like the new netbooks would do with this kind of computing, video overlay...

This could be Earth's primitive version of holograms!!!

  • Here's a something to think about..

When this has evolved to board games played either with 1. playing cards or with 2. mouse.

    Example: 1. 'Yugioh' 2. 'WarCraft'

...Damn I want to see those two games up on my taple with this technologic!

*This is too good to be true for Yugioh fans*

    ^^

  • Sony already did that with a franchise called Magic Eye or something. Was an online AR card game using their cam.

  • I do it with my built in camera on my notebook, it works fine. you dont need a perfect camera.

  • You don't even need a perfect computer either. AR tech has been around since the 90's. It's just now becoming mainstream.

  • AR is our future.

  • wize words, but yes, very true. Cant wait!

  • wow this is awsome!!

    so how expensive is this?!

  • You need a very sharp camera for this.

  • It also helps to print the markers out at a larger size. My little USB webcam barely works. My Sony Handycam through the USB port is better, but not great. I wish the 1394 drivers weren't limited to the Dragonfly camera. :(

  • pragmatic publishing is putting out a book about augmented reality and artag. it will come with sample code.

  • omg sitting in ur room looking through one of these out ur window to the street and fuckin around out there =O
