Why do people say this movie is bad? It's got everything a good action/adventure movie needs - it's better than Jurassic Park! The characters are more interesting, and there aren't any boring parts. It's just a really fun movie!

I read the book Congo and then the book Jurassic Park within a week, so I had this daydream that the few grey gorillas which survived the volcanic eruption relocated to another part of Africa, and then years later the velociraptors that escaped from Jurassic Park hid on a ship which took them from South America to Africa. The raptors and the grey gorillas then ended up getting into a territoral war which proved that they are equally intelligent. Local villagers eventaully killed them.

If you haven't read the book you should. About half the book is devoted to actual scientific and historical facts and theories, which makes the fictional half of the book seem realistic (which is a serious accomplishment.)

I think the grey gorillas and the velociraptors from Jurassic Park are the best villians Micheal Crihton ever came up with. I want someone to make a comic book that pits the Jurassic Park raptors against the Congo grey gorillas. That would be awesome.

If i see Bruce Campbell when i re-watch this... this may very well be the greatest achievement in the entire recorded history of mankind.

If you put this movie and corvette together, the combined awesomeness could quite possibly tear a hole in the fabric of reality, dooming all of creation to total oblivion. But for an instant, the blinding flash of awesome will have made it all worthwhile.

that's a tough one, but i'd give it to the Raptors, both of them poseess near human intelligence and maybe these apes are a bit stronger but the Raptors are much faster and they actually know what they're doing, these apes just attack by letting out all their primitive rage

and remember when they were all taking dips into the lava? why would anyone want to do that?

plus the Raptors would like to gain a measure of revenge for Reptilia against the apes for what King Kong did to the T-rex
