  • Can you maybe give the source?

  • Loving this web browser man. if poosible would you be able to make a tutorial on how to make a web browser like this but without the log in accounts feature?

  • Nice work! I Program using VB also and I made a webbrowser myself. Can you tell me what you think about it?

  • Very Nice Web Browser...But Not Very Visual and This Took a Year? Really? It Should Have Got You Working For About 2 Months At The Most...A Month...But Why Did It Take You A Year?!?!

  • @XiONzMeDIA maybe it was a side project and he didnt sit down for hours at end working on it

  • @PTE989 Most Likely...But still...He couldnt have made it better :D

  • @XiONzMeDIA He's only one man. Those who make Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and RockMelt are more than hundreds.

  • @Opadome Uhm...I think you mis-read my comment. I said that this could have been better since he worked on a year...The newcomer to vb could have made this in a month or two tops.

  • @Opadome And it took 42 People to make Google Chrome. 26 to Develop and the rest to test so you definitely seem to know what your talking about.

  • @XiONzMeDIA He could have been busy and couldnt work on it alot, He could also have had tons of school work.

  • @XiONzMeDIA

He has a life outside vb you know.

  • Sorry if i'm being annoying here but you missed out some stuff: zoom and RSS feed viewer

  • good job but there are some features in there that really aren't necessary

  • could you make a tutorial on how to make the working bookmarks and history forms and also the privacy settings please???

  • dude awesome you are a visual basic code arent u?

  • Text editor? But its a browser! XD

  • sounds like you said its got minimize to task bar fu fucktion

    but good browser cool :D

  • uhm how did u got the full screen? or full, full i think u understand. sry noob question :$

  • great design simple but not limited.

  • its amazing I want it

  • are you giving away source code for that ?

  • "you've got working bookmarks that work." BRA-VO.

  • Heyy keep up the good work man. Your doing great!! :)

  • One question, how do you manage to download with webkit, it's the only tthing I haven't managed yet. Thanks

  • Awesome browser! Did you use WebKit or Trident (the rendering engine Internet Explorer uses) as the rendering engine for the browser? Thanks.

  • what do you use for webkit here?

    webkitdotnet or cefsharp?

in case you are interested in a cooperation i am making a web browser too/'called boltswebbrowser you can check it out in my channel (can't post a link)

  • OMG This is awsome but can you help me ??? (PM)

  • This is awesome! where can i download it (or is it not done yet)?

  • sick dude where did you learn this

  • @xXEoGmediaXx I've been a programmer for a few years now. Once you learn the theory of object oriented programming and learn different memory management techniques then your imagination is the limit to what you can create.

  • @XtremeDeveloper im thinking of going more advanced with programming this has inspired me thankss

  • @XtremeDeveloper You can find all this shit on youtube in the browser on youtube, idk why ppl are asking how you learned it -.-. And you should try gecko its way better as webkit.

  • @iwantmyusernameplx Coming from someone who has done absolutely nothing and has an empty youtube channel, Skid.

  • @Developervideos123 I used freely avaliable icon packs. Icon design is not my forte.

  • Can you make it in VB ex 2008?

  • Hmm... All in all very nice. I'd assume you're using a stream and text file for bookmarks? Nice touch with the favicon, btw, not as hard as people think. But I'm curious, are you just using the WebBrowser component, or are you actually parsing/rendering the HTML yourself?

  • great browser, but, YOU DIDNT MAKE ANY OF THE ICONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GoVisualTeam There may have been millions of browsers like Xtreme Browser, but that doesn't make XtremeDeveloper a slow coder. Despite how fast or slow he may be at coding, making a browser like this is still pretty amazing. If you were a fast coder, send him some of your knowledge? :)

  • @JeanieTallis I do not have time for that, but if I had, I could...

  • How do you do your history? I've got favorites and it uses XML, but history... I'm not sure about? I'm using C++ but the same method would apply but with different syntax.

  • @JeanieTallis Very interesting... If it's okay with you I would like to see your project as I am a C++ programmer too. As for your problem XtremeBrowser just uses simple file streaming and there is a sophisticated method in c++ for reading from a text file that could contain history, bookmarks ... everything. The solution is too long so I will message you it okay. Did you use the .Net framework, QT, Win32 Api or GTKMM?

  • @XtremeDeveloper - Sent my reply in an email (I already sent on about in-private browsing before so ... don't get mixed)

  • after watching this video, i felt embarrised.... i mean look at my vb browser compared to urs!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! SUSCRIBING

  • So did you get the source code of webkit and develop it and compile it for Visual Basic or C#? It looks very good

  • @mixsetup Pretty much :) thanks

  • Holy shit, you r good! xD

  • Nice.

  • cooooooool!!

  • Very impressive, as a computing student myself I can really appreciate just how much effort such a project would take!

PS: Please keep your excellent videos coming!

  • wowzaaaa nice man!

  • looks really cool. very innovative. :)

  • Hi you know the code so when i maximize the form all things is maximized to you know how to do that leave a message// ttpa1

  • How would one obtain this Xtreme Web Browser :D ?

Looks really good. I WANT I WANT I WANT !!!! haha

  • @versEFx Thanks, Anyone who subscribes will get the right to exclusively test the final beta. And get a free copy of the final build.

  • @XtremeDeveloper Awesome, can't wait till it's done, looks really promising.

  • @XtremeDeveloper When you say "And get a free copy of the final build" it has to be free. Visual Basic projects are not allowed to be sold. It's against microsofts TOS

  • @BlackBirdv2 Actually it's not. As long as the .Net framework is not sold with the application I am free to do what I like with my apps.

  • so not the gay webbrowser control, but you made your own HTML and CSS parser and displayed the results?

  • @FirstTerrorist No I used the webkit engine which is used I believe in safari and chrome.

  • @XtremeDeveloper ahh so there is a custom control which is available somewhere? I remmeber using the gecko engine control that firefox uses in a vb.net app as a webbrowser componnent.

    Nice work tho xD

  • @FirstTerrorist Thanks :D yeah the webkit engine is very fast and efficient it also means I can sell my program without getting sued by microsoft for ripping off the ie engine.
