I prey to GOD they will complete where the anime left off. I'm not trying to be a dick I love Berserk its very unique I'll take anything that's new as positive but I'm sure we all know the timeline. I read some of the manga after the eclipse and I recall Caska turning mentally impaired and having some demon baby.

I mean it even finished as to say "EXPECT A SEQUEL SOON", but all their gonna do is take us through the same scenario again, just with better graphics.... Yea I feel you on that one. Its an annoying character. A naked flying 8 year old girl. Who the fuck wants to see that!? Oh yea pedo's. Could've atleast gave her some "pixie clothes". VERY glad she wasn't in the anime. Cute squeeky voices and big eyes are bad enough, but little naked faeries!? Fuck that shit! Aside from that, its the best manga I've ever read, along with Gantz.

I hope they get Marc Diraison to voice Guts in the English dub again, he did a badass job. There were but a few scenes in the anime I can remember where he and the other VAs just needed better direction. And less goofy voices for background characters >:(

@rockhellien I also thought the same thing... the way things are now most of the stuff that was shown in the original anime/manga will be blocked out and censored and they will probaly try to remove a lot of the gore as best they can without ruining the story. That's just how anime has changed over the years, sad fact :(

@214SoulReaver Wrong. Berserk is composed of 4 arcs: Golden Age, Black Swordsman, Hawk of the Millenium and Phantasia. The first arc is being adapted into 3 films. Any further films based other the other arcs have yet to be announced.

I think this won't be an anime but a set of DVDs because if they include the uncut, pure version of The Eclipse, Miura will be in danger and we know that companies are wussies because they dont want something that has intense gore and violence be shown in TV.

I think this video is fake: look at sec 0.22 and u will see that he has the right armor but the wrong sword. He has the armor after the golden age ( the armor that gave him the name Black Swordsman ) but the weapon is from the golden age ( the last sword, after the original is broken ). Thats Caska, after the eclipse Caska is either so traumatized or somehow mentally screwed up by the experience that she had that she was left with the mental capacity of a child. As far as i have read she has not recovered yet, if she ever will.
