any team can beat any team with the right tactics the brits can be supprisingly effective if you use them offensivly rather than just sitting and waiting for ur enemy to come to you.

brits who turtle and arty spam aren't as hard to beat as you'd think. just use nebelwerfers and/or StuKas to burn down their defenses, if they try to shoot back, use shoot 'n' scoop

The one thing I wish was in this game was like in World in Conflict when u select infantry and tanks together the tanks would slow down to keep w/ the infantry allowing the tanks and infantry ot work better together. This game the tanks are just like...ya'll r on ur own. Also wish tanks provided cover like they would in RL......ive found it kinda retarded a MG suppresses and hits infantry behind tanks.

there are some mods that makes ur vehicles(tanks/light tanks) a heavy cover for ur infantry..

try the europe in war mod or combat revolution mod....it will bring the game more realistic.

Bofors, 17pounder, mg nest are 3 population each. Mortar is 2 pop. HQ upgrade (royal eng tree) will olso help. Just dont build (spam) 25pounders, priests and churchills.

Had this game for ages now :) love it!... british are epic with their defencive structions and the panzer elite are epic with there well you no panzers =D (tanks :P) but it is a shame that the mg teams cant go into the slit trenches :'( would love it so much more if they could

If MG team can move into slit trenches may not be balance.... But what if your opponent MG team take your slit trenches, wouldn't be nasty to let the enemy spray 1200 rounds per minute back at you? Slit trenches doesn't help much if your opponent is a panzer elite veteran, he can simply deny your cover by attacking the side quickly or use white phosphorus round to burn your MG team alive, remember MG team have far less health than a squad of any infantry in the game.

It would be fair cuz if he kills you, then he can use it =D + i baught the new expansion today :) its quite good, i dont like the staghound replacing the cromwell command tank but i do always use the stag because its cheap and really effective against infantry, but they shouldnt have replaced the cromwell command, shoulda replaced the stuart light tank :)... didnt no that about the health :o i hate panzer elite cuz of that fire grenade + mortar lol... So to stop the grenade, i put barb wire :)

I think that kinda wierd for Staghound replacing the Cromwell command tank cause beside have a powerful cannon, you can't chain command it to other British tank. Its more of a recon vehicle replacing a command vehicle. I like the Panzer Elite light tank, though I still prefer if its a Panzer IIs or IIIs. I always send either the Panzer IVf or Hotchkiss to clear the Barb wire for my Mortar Halftrack. But my friend prefer to lay mines and tank traps. When that comes, I used Scourge Earth's Hummel

Yeah its stupid, I wouldnt mind so much if the staghound gave off the command aura bonus, but because it doesnt i dont think it should replace it, i would of prefered it replace a Stuart light tank, do you think they will change it and give the cromwell command back?... I love using mines ;) always place it at vulnerable positions :), when im playing as americans i always use tank traps, but its a shame that later in the game they just get knocked down easily

What your supposed to do is, after you've fully update company of heroes, you add the CD from opposing fronts to the original game

I had this problem too. My CoH was deactivated until i reentered the code of my coh. Just click at the ccampaign and reenter the code.. it should work

You basically just insert the original COH CD key and a screen will pop up tell you to put the COH game disk inside. Insert it and enjoy all three campaign and four army.

If you hit a tiger in the rear you can destroy it because you will hit the Fuel tanks. Although with a Stuart tank you would need to be like 5 ft away the gun is to weak, but multiple hits to the rear would destroy it.

Look it is not just a matter of history it is also a matter of science. Stuart tanks simply can't penetrate Tigers armor since their firepower lacks high penetration force needed to punch through that thick armor. Basically it is like hoping to break a glass with a piece of paper... I didn't mean to say you didn't destroy a tiger in the game I am saying that it is more likely that you've blown up Panzer IV, in real life destroying Tiger with a group of Stuarts was an impossible task.

Man learn some history. Tiger had such a thick armor that most of allied tanks couldn't penetrate it. In fact there is a famous german tank commander who managed to destroy over 20 allied tanks and halftracks with his Tiger in just one encounter and without support of german troops.

But ToV have extremely short campaign and no new armies. A good World War II games should have good length campaign and featured brand new army to refresh the excitement for player. CoH always has very good storyline compare to most WWII games. I hope for a new army and longer campaign.

I bought it at RM 140.00(USD 20.00) compare to the Comapny of Heroes Gold Edition at RM 140.00, its expensive and in terms of cost and what they present inside that game. Gold Edition which featured all four army and a long campaign worth a lot. Tales of Valor offers some new stuff but overall did not sastified most consumers. Yaeh, you can call me stupid or cheap but that game cost me three and a hlf month of savings pal.

You can bypass the check by going to Start > Run > cmd. Once the command prompt is running, do "cd D:\" or if your disk drive is not D:\ change D:\ to whatever letter flag it is. Then just do "setup.exe bypass".
