@i919 Maybe with the way they used that vocoderized vocal, but Eiffel's generic eurohouse beat--and pre-Kindergarten lyrics--don't hold a candle to that sick bassline and latin flavor. Basement Jaxx's entire album, Remedy, was more inventive, adventurous, and party-minded than Eiffel's. Probably helped that the Jaxx are British and have a terrific grasp of English invention and humor. I suggest giving their entire sick catalog a listen before comparing them to Eiffel again. Sacrilege!
