i'm on my normal playthrough and you can die all u have to do not shoot ur china lake and let them shoot you it happened to me numerous times and i think i got the trophy but i guess miscounted the tanks cuz i kept saving and quiting cuz i kept missing and after awhile of that i just said screw it i missed once thought i was ok cuz it said no more than six and destroyed them all but no trophy did the same thing with the escape from vorkuta and slingshot kid but i got vehicular slaughter

lol I decided today to do all the achievements. Basically I had to save and exit 3 times in a row because 3 times in a row my rocket went directly under the full length of the second tank. if you miss just shoot th jeep and try again, it will go back in the last check point .

yeah i admit i faild on recruit lol fml right but if you do mess up like me what idid was aim down and shoot your jeep a few times until you die and yeah go from there and you can still het the trophy if you got the first one in one shot hope this helps

If you miss a tank, you can restart from the last set of tanks destroyed by firing the tow missle into the truck and still achieve the trophy. Thumb this up so people can see it.

On Xbox 360, the game doesn't freeze and you get the achievement right away.  Sony really suck with Operating Systems.

FYI, you literally cannot die by the enemy on recruit. The only way to do it if you miss is to aim down, and shoot your own jeep with a missile.

1st time i play this pile of trash mission i got in the jeep first, my driver then got in and woods would just stand outside shooting till i would die. took 4ever to get there on veteran all for it to glitch out. had 2 do the whole mission over. if it wasnt for gun game and sharpshooter this game would of been a waste of money. this game is a pile of shit compaired to MW2! and wadger matches are a joke too. Hey I found that if you miss a tank aim the tow all the way down and shoot your own jeep till you die. This will restart your last checkpoint from when the jeep last moved still giving you the chance to get the trophy.

If you screw up and miss a target with the tow missile after doing some of the other tanks you can kill yourself by using the tow launcher on yourself, it'll take about 2 or 3 missiles.
