Dude, you don't deserve the fucking kit you're playing on. Look at your snare, you have what, 3 moon gels on that thing?! LEARN HOW TO TUNE/ DON'T BE LAZY WHEN IT COMES TO UPKEEP.
@Drratburn Allright....I get tons of these types of comments from people just like you....those who don't have a single video of them posted playing drums....or anything for that matter. I normally don't even respond to such obvious ignorance, but how dare you tell me I don't DESERVE my own drum kit. The drum kit that I purchased piece by piece, with money that I earned from my career...that I worked my way through college to achieve. And lazy? How can you even call me lazy without knowing
@Drratburn a single damn thing about me? I'll assure you, that drum kit is pampered. New heads every six months minimum, polished and cleaned monthly, and ripped apart and set back up so that I can play with people who would never, ever call me lazy...considering we cover over 100 songs. I know how to tune sir, and yes, I don't have great recording equipment so that may play a part in the not so good sound quality. And the moon gels...I had been doing some recording before I taped this.
@Drratburn Maybe you aren't familiar with recording drums, but it takes a lot to get a great sounding drum track recorded. Moon gels just so happen to help in that department. My suggestion to you, pull your head out of your ass and realize that maybe not everyone out there can impress you, but have a little respect. Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all? You don't deserve the computer you're reading this on, jerk.
Hahaha. Ok well for starters - I spent six years building my 7 piece Tama set, with 3 A-Custom crashes, 1 A-Custom ride and 3 A-Cusom splashes - Along with a 530 dollar double bass pedal. My set is a recording set. My 2 bands which I record and tour with, are both ending. I've been playing for almost 9 years now, and I didn't have to go to college because I had a talent agent and was backed by a small label by the time I was 17. So I DO know what I'm talking about -
@Drratburn Glad you have a nice kit, I'd like to see you play it. Good luck on pursuing music....it's a hard road and almost no one makes it. I love knowing I have a masters degree and a great education. A true musician doesn't act like you. You are arrogant, indulgent, completely innapprpriate, and probably some fat kid in your parents basement with dreams of being a rock star. Good luck to you sir! What would Youtube be without complete idiots like yourself?
@RocknSchrock HAHAHAHA, yep, that's me! Some fat kid in a basement. You tell yourself that and just let yourself believe that I am less than you, and the opposite of what I really am. I'll be sure to post a video of my and my set after the holidays, and once you see it, I'll delete it, because like I said, THIS ACCOUNT is meant for me to tell petite, self-righteous wanna-be's off. Glad your cover band is fun, hope you know you have no respect from any real musicians. Sell-out, pussy.
I just don't post videos on this youtube account because it's meant for NON-music shit, and trashing fagsters who either talk shit and can't drum on their shitty sets, or kids who think their COVER BAND (BTW, NICE BAND, FAGGOT - Cover bands are for HACKS) gives them the right to demand credit to be respected despite their lack of skills, despite their very decent kit.
I've played with tons of successful bands - No drummer from any of them had THREE moon gels on their shit.
@Drratburn How is Youtube "meant" for NON music postings (I'll refrain from cursing....it only shows your true lack of vocabulary). It's meant for whatever anyone wants to post. And I'm not a kid...I'm 28 years old, and straight...so I'm not sure where "faggot" came in to play here. Cover bands may be for "hacks" but when one is not attempting to pursue music as a career, it keeps me playing out, having fun, and bringing in some extra cash. Can you tell me a few of your successful bands?
@RocknSchrock Oh and just because you purchased your drum set piece by piece (SO YOU COULD PLAY IN YOUR COVER BAND) doesn't mean you deserve them. Your set isn't even that fucking great.
Is your set worth 11Gs? No? You about to buy a Titan Warlord snare, which costs almost 2,000 dollars? Well looks like you're cover band doesn't have the budget. Suck a dick!
@Drratburn I bought my drumset so I could play...I like to play. I guess I'm not quite as good as you are, or think that the price tag on my equipment makes me superior. And no, my band doesn't have a huge budget for me to buy drums, but we have fun. That's what music is for me, fun......ever had any? How cynical can you be?
I really think you've over-complicated it. I can see you're a great drummer and everything, but Freese and Brain are such great technicians, they never improv anything. They stick to their guns.
And I think everything on this particular album needs the original drum tracks played live, or else it doesn't have the same feel.
Sorry, i give a thumb up, but it wasn't the original, i don't like it so much :/ Bt it was very good improving solo in there! Good job.
