  • a good motorcyclist*

  • i good motorcyclist can usually do that as good as this guy but both ways, left and right. youre half way there dude

  • so are you turning like a push bike? or counter steering?

  • That last swervie was hilarious, WOOSH, WOOSH, WOOSH.. But lets be honest, without those dirtbike handlebars you wouldnt be Johnny WOoshWOosh.. borrow an R1 and do the same test just for fun, scarry!

  • @boogie504 easy with practice. I can do it ...so anyone can......with practice.

  • damn.. my aprilia rs 125 is a gp replica the handbars dont turn that much!! or.. like at all :D

  • Those ducks were shitting themselves.

  • Oh my Ducks!!! He was able to ... keep that mc balanced even if it's almost not moving during the very sharp U-turn and saving the ducks ~_~

  • I need to practice this at home, how far apart do you have the cones?

  • I actually just took the MC driving test today in Ohio, and they have u do a 90 degree right turn then do a left turning U-turn back around. It is done at 3-5 mph, and let me just say it makes u wanna put a foot down put then that's a deduction of 5 points. 2 toe dabs or 2 foot downs 4 stalls or drop the bike, all automatic fail. Must pass with less than -10 fail, -9 pass. I passed with -2 for not stopping completely inside a stopping box. Front tire was on the line.

  • Many rubber duckies died in the making of this video. ;)

  • great control and balance - it seems that's probably essential in safe riding, wouldn't you say xXturbo86Xx ???

  • That was very impressive. He obviously is well trained and has ridden for some time. The demonstration was still awesome!

  • A good rider cleans his brake pads so they dont squeal !

  • Good control u have over your bike.. nice.. i like that turn when u stopped while turning but didn't put your foot down rather left it on the throtle n ur body position to handle it.. thats the perfect technique for the u-turn.. specially in that much slow speed...

  • what's impressive is that these turns are to the (less practiced) right

  • Comment removed

  • I enjoy any video with rubber duckies.

  • =just training all day during one month

lf a had my own property empty with road to do this sure l'd do this all day

  • tht's cool :)

  • why do so many people practice right hand u-turns when the only legal u-turn in the U.S. is a left?

  • @alehax27

    So true!

  • @alehax27 You have to do a right U-turn for the motorycle skills test (for license). Makes so sense, seeing as the only time you would ever do that is in parking lots, if that... But ya, that's why.

  • @alehax27 its not practing for the right hand u turn its praticing for the motorcycle test

  • @alehax27 it might be because he's british other don't know x

  • @alehax27 right turn is for most easier

  • @alehax27 Because we drive on the left hand side dummy!

  • Good Video

  • loved it

  • hahahaha nice ending!

  • That's some cool stuff there.

I thought I was the only "nutjob" (according to my friends) who spent hours practicing tight turns, slow rides, weaving through cones and fast stops. I go as far as keeping track of how often I actually have to put my feet down while at a stop light and it's not very often.

I have to get some ducks tho, because I sometimes use milk and 3 litter soda bottles filled with water to keep them from blowing away.

  • you need to make tips and tricks videos on this stuff man! i don't wanna be afraid of slow turns anymore!! lol

  • Can you do one of the riding over upturned wood trick? It's a good one for core balance. You just get a 10 foot piece of 2x4, stand it on the thin side and ride over it. If it doesn't fall it's good.

  • eeek squeeky breaks are annoying

  • I would only use the rear brake in such slow speeds. Not like on 0:45 when the fork goes down... but i'm no pro ;)

  • the sound of your dampeners compressing almost sounds like a duck

  • lame

  • Pristine verticality.

  • I planning on getting my licence (in France ) I hope the rubber ducky thing is not part of the test...

  • good post, and you got some skills

  • wow. that's some crazy balance.

  • wow this guys GOOOOOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice. your good

  • Nice Bandit. :)

  • Do I have to have my regular drivers license befor i go for my m1 lisence in california?

  • I am pretty sure you do, I got my vehicle license first then my permit for motorcycles. Anyway one day your gona need to drive a car so why dont you just do the test. Honestly its a three chance deal or wait a week and do it 3 more times. I think it'll be easier then you think. I havent done the actual pratical test on the road with my bike but i will do that to actually get M1 class. Best of luck; Practice makes perfect!

  • You just need the permit. I took the ridercourse at 16.

  • @starbladexd You need a driver's permit to test for motorycle permit, but as for the license, no, you don't have to worry about getting a driver's license if you're only interested in a motorycle license. But is in Arizona, not too sure if they do it differently in Cali.

  • so thats wot those ducks were designed to do... lol

  • hey where can I find these ducks?? lol

  • AT A POND

  • lol no animals were hurt

  • are those MSF approved ducks? nice u-turn!

  • lol duckys lol nice job ur good

  • nice!

  • great

  • one word: SICK

  • I'd be chuffed if I could even make it round in a wider arc than that!

  • SKILLS!

  • wow very nice control and lol duckies

  • good job. i would like to know how far apart should i place the ducks when doing the weave.

  • excellent, slow controls is really impressive, well done

  • This is where you should use your rear brakes.

You guys probably seen everywhere where riding tips are given "use your front brake 100% of the time!" but no...

  • I know, thanks

  • look left, go left.

    look right, go right.

    look down, go down.

  • @VIPKINGsStalker look up...go up...oh wait bikes cant fly, darn lol...rather u hit the car in front or tree if u look up, that part isnt funny though...isnt it kinda wierd how that just naturally happens, ur hand and body just naturally goes where ur eyes are lookin, like a hot nieghbor layin in the sun and about hit a tree with my bicycle lol

  • Don't look at the ducky, or you run over the ducky. Capish?

  • lol, that thats funny

  • I would have fanned the clutch and produced a good healthy roost of duckies.

  • I don't care what people say, that was impressive to me :)

  • u aint called cone monkey for nothing haha

  • A good rider may be the one that survives long without causing an accident. In that sense, I agree that avoiding duckies has nothing directly to do with being a good rider. But honing your skills may improve your suvival probability. At least, practicing doesn't hurt while it's fun.

  • i highly doubt turbo has ever ridden a bike.not a lot of guys can do that especially the near stop

  • @ConeMonkey this video is actually showing the biker's control over his/her bike. power without control is nothing (pirelli's commercial tag line)

  • @xXturbo86Xx

This exercise is mainly about vehicle control, it IS an important part to learn for any rider, as everyone can drive at high speeds, but the weight and size of the motorcycle becomes more apparent when driving slow. Moreover, practicing this will prevent the driver from dropping his bike or having to push his bike because he can't make a small turn.

Judging by your comment you have either never ridden, or have not had any exercise like this during your training.

  • He hit the rubber ducky at 30 sec.

  • Oh, did I? :-P

Let me know which duckie I should apollogize to.

  • @ConeMonkey respect mate i would never be fit to do that

  • @ConeMonkey lol you go beg it for forgiveness...

  • the duck weave hahahaha

  • very skillful, well done

  • where did you buy those ducks?

  • Rubber ducks are so popular here in the US that you can find one almost anywhere. I bought these ones from Ouray Toys through Amazon just because they were offering a good bulk deal that time.

I do not know if rubber ducks are easily available in your area, but you can use any small cute soft stuff that you wouldn't like to run over.

  • hahahahahah lololololol!

  • great video, I need practice on everything.

  • is it normal for your brakes to squeak like that? do you have any suggestions on what should i do if my brakes are a bit spongy? other than bleed the system. . .thanks!

  • I cleaned the front-brake caliper and moved the caliper pistons several times to kneal the piston-seal rubber. Now it's not that squeaky as in the video.

If I felt the brakes spongy even after bleeding well, I would change the fluid. If the things didn't change, then I would suspect something wrong in the hoses or the fittings.

Visit the dealer if you are not sure. Be safe.

  • Nice ducks ..

  • great job. The rubber ducks cracked me up. I'm not sure, but I think if you go faster, there might be more space between the wheels.
