Deinonychus and Stegosaurus were both in North America, but the Stegosaurus lived in the late Jurassic and the Deinonychus was in the early Cretaceous. they would never bump into eachother because they were millions of years apart.

Yes, you're right that Deinonychus lived along with tenontosaurus (yes, that's the spelling, not tendontosaurus) but it never lived along Late Jurassic dinosaurs liked allosaurus, ceratosaurus and camptosaurus.

to georgiezillafan : The very end of the Jurassic period dates approximately 145 million years ago. Deinonychus first appeared on Earth around 121 million years ago. The end of Jurassic and the existence of Deinonychus spans around 24 million years, a gigantic amount of time if you ask me. The Stegosaurus species became extinct at the end of the Jurassic. Deinonychus appeared during the Early Cretaceous. They never met.

I dont intend to criticize you. I just want to clarify your misconception.
