  • @74mramit

but this song was sung by kishore..

  • RIP.

He was full of life. I admired his spirit! He was famous for his different style of acting, his quotes, his dialogues and saying.

Guide was one of his THE BEST.....the ending scene with this soulful dialogue......

  • @ursaheli "Aaj mai kitani aazadi mehsoos kar raha hoon." Maut ye khayaal hai jaise zindagi ye khayaal hai ! na sukh hai, na dukh hai ! na deen hai, na duniya ! na insaan , na bhagvaan ! sirf mai hoon, mai hoon, mai hoon, mai hoon -mai- sirf mai.. Aag me phek do, mai jalunga nahi ! talwaar se vaar karo, mai katunga nahi ! tum ahankaar ho, tumko marna hoga ! mai aatma hoon, amar hoon.. zindagi pighalkar prakash ban gayi ! aur sacchaai mera roop hai ! tan rahe na rahe, mai rahoonga.

  • Another splendid upload fit for capturing the ebullient celebration of life that became a hallmark of Dev Anand's spirit. Thanks, Suhanee.

  • Dev Anand entertained millions through many decades. Three generations of Hindi cinema goers adored this great artist. Thanks for the memories Dev Sahib. Peace be upon him and his family.

  • Rest in Peace, Dev Anand.

"Guide" was my introduction to Indian popular film. I'll never forget it.

  • The best ever...RIP

  • Attended Technical School in the 70's penniless.

Lunchtime we'd visit neighborhood shops, everyone would buy a snack, except I of course .

Poverty had suppressed my appetite but I was developing an insatiable appetite for music.Repeatedly my classmates would offer me money for a snack but was insufficient actually. Sufficient, however, for the punch box. Dev Anand in those days was synonymous with Romance.Listening to his movie songs prepared me for school and beyond.Well done! Sir.

  • r.i.p dev anand he will be sorely missed
