@mcbashore mtb sprocket. road bikes chainrings. depends on who your talking to but its basically the same. but anyway. this video was really informative and easy to follow. my middle chainring shattered and now i know how to replace it. thanks
i freaking hate how bikes need special tools -_- theyre pretty expensive and if i want to just adjust something or just take something apart to fix i have to pay like 30+ dollars just for that one time to use the tool
Hey! I have Truvativ Hussefelt 22/32/bash guard, Howitzer Spline BB, and i don't know where to get compatible and/or the good Chain Rings for. Haven't found them on the company website, and on other websites, is there any Chain rings Fully Compatible with them? (GOOD chain rings, i'm tired of breaking crap.)
Thanks in Advance if u can help me! Would be really nice if u could tell me!
@ReconHHC The easiest way is a $4 tool from Park tools. Go to spadout.com and search for "Gearclean". The first result allow you to reach inside of the chain rings and clean them.
You might be able to get it to work but especially if they're tight it will be awkward. That tool is cheap ($3) go to spadout and search for "chainring nut wrench". Thanks!

You don't need no special nothing tool. They come out just as easily with an allen wrench alone.

do a guide for chain line & setup for single and dual ring setup and installing chain guides and correct chain length for single and dual ring.

Hey,
You will need to remove the crank to remove the chain ring.
