  • How did you get the facial hair to stick?

  • MY GOD. THIS VIDEO IS AGE RESTRICTED? WATCHING PRIME TIME TELEVISION WITH ITS RACISM AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE WILL SCREW A KID UP. NOT A LESBIAN HOW TO VIDEO!

  • you should use oil sheen or baby oil to make it easy to remove the tape with no pain.

    Dayamis

  • this is AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing!

  • luv it one of the best vids but did u use any glue like spirit glue when u were doing the facial hair i didnt kno hawaii had gay pride and LBGTQ prom that must be awesome dude

  • lol he looks like a famous saxophone jazz player ! lol i mean she

  • This is a great tutorial

I really like the way you did the facial hair, it's incredible! Wow

  • @o0SouthparkGirl0o : thank you =)

  • I have a elvis jumpsuit i would like to wear for a upcoming performance but I can't hide my breast. I am a 42 dd. :/ Any suggestions other than wearing a shirt over the open chest area??

  • @DeeArmando602 Well I am not a transvestite but a cosplay-centric cosplayer and I know, there are very well made bodies, you can wear over a binder, they are thin, skin-coloured and sometimes painted if you want to (sixpac etc). it's better than a shirt but it's still visible. :/ sorry

  • @o0SouthparkGirl0o ok thank's. :) and I'm not a trans I am a drag King it is simply just performance...

  • i see that everyone is putting in there advice... thank you for that. i don't think it's hopeless for bigger breast women. binding gives the effect to have a FLATTER chest.. but you need to find the right outfit that helps you cover them more. larger clothing or thick hoodies, jacket... whatevers. play around. sorry i don't come on youtube alot so i missed out on alot of questions. look at all the comments some are very helpful. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

  • To take tape off, use WD-40. It helps with removing the tape, so it's not painful to come off and won't tear your skin, washes clean with soap & water in the shower, just be careful not to slip! lol

  • What kind of makeup were they using for the facial hair? And was it just sort of dabbed on with a finger?

  • for anyone interested, January is international Drag month, for kings and queens :D Show it off at school :P

  • Can you still bing your breasts even if you're a size 38C? :\

  • @LoveIrelandPride It is. Hunny I got about the same size bust as you. It's somewhat difficult to breath but you get used to it :P sorta, lol. Just wear a really baggy shirt/hoodie :3

  • @LoveIrelandPride YES...

  • It's hard to bind though with DD cup breasts.

I plan on going as a male character for Halloween and I have no clue how I'm gonna flatten my chest properly.

  • that's AMAZING :) :) btw your hot both ways ;)

  • I'm not trying to be mean and i'm not saying its wrong if you want to do this. I just don't understand why a girl would want to dress up as a guy?

  • @tiptop10100

its an art form. At least thats how a lot of drags view it :) Not to mention, its fun being someone else for a day

  • how did u do the facial hair hair spry and what

    and how

  • I wish my boobs were small enough for this to look decently for me : ((((

  • What can you do if your breasts are an E like my friend? She's petty much given up hope

  • Great vid! Do you have any tips for larger breasted women? or is it just completely hopeless?

  • @Wolfsbane259

It depends on how large we're talking about here... I'm a 38 G; It's hopeless. I've seen up to DDD bound well... Check out underworks, they have compression tops for FTM dudes that work the best. I saw someone using a compression shirt with a chest-only compression tank ontop of that, but I wouldn't recommend that for the long term at all.

Remember, breathe from your diaphragm (abdomen) if binding super tight.

  • not bad at all! I've always bound using textile, but next time I'll try clear tape for a more nude look.

Also, can anyone pelase tell me what this song is? thanks!

  • Now what about for us women who have larger and perky chests? That's my problem. I'm a D cup and I had a girl ask me once what kind of push up bra I was wearing because my chest was so perky, but that day I wasn't wearing a push-up bra. O.o But I need to go in drag for this one convention, and I don't think conventional wrapping will work for me. It might just give me even more cleavage.

  • Actually, binding actually works for people while all different sizes. I'm not saying it works for everyone, but for most people.

I personally wear a high C cup and Closed Shirt Binding works fine.

Just get the widest bandage available and pull it tight. (And, push your breats down in the bandages a little bit after wrapping.)

But, on the other hand, Open Shirt Binding will be more difficult. I suggest sticking with closed shirt. It's much more confortable anyway.

  • Ahh thank you!

I won't require the open binding method for my costume thankfully. Now I am wondering what sort of wrapping would work best. More specifically thickness, brands, etc.

  • Hm. Well, the thicker the better, so avoid those "self stick" bandages.

I go with Ace and just reuse the bandage. Usually, the colored bandages (meaning that salmon color) which you need to tape/clip down work best. You can pick 'em up at any general store (Safeway, Walmart, ect).

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

  • @LittleKokeshiDoll get a binder from T-kingdome or Underworks, they work up to DD cup

  • nice work! the people who try to drag/drag shows in my town... are miserable. well the kings anyway. we have a few good queens.

D: i cant drag cause my breasts are waaay too big

  • Thanks, guys. I'm trying to do the bind using gauze bandages, but I'm failing terribly. : ( They were so expensive, too.

  • Great video! Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video! I'm going to a party this weekend with a costume that doesn't leave much to the imagination and I needed something to keep my boobs in place!

  • this was very helpful. im dressing in drag for a party and i needed to disguise my breasts.

  • ur Fuccin AWESOme

  • Thanks for the vid!!! Your bombs, or should I say, lack of bombs looked very believable! Your pretty face gives it away a bit, but no harm there! Also liked the outfit choice.

  • ಠ_ಠ

  • Love the video, D; seen it a few times just. It' sucks cause mine are like, Size c's xD i struggle with taping mine down 3; Love your ending result btw :333

  • shouldnt pluck your eyebrows, gives it away. male trannys pluck to be likea girl so girl trannys need to let them grow to be a guy.

  • =) my eyebrow is naturally thin. i'll try to draw over them next time

  • @TheRealReasonForDP kind of late to respond but my eyebrow is just like that... maybe i should dab some fake hair to fill it in... lol

  • I WANT THAT JOB :)

  • I'm a female-sexed and female-gendered heterosexual LGBT activist here in Mississippi, and I really enjoyed this video! I've always thought that gender is very fluid and shifting, but only recently have I started actually playing with it--yesterday, I woke up feeling like a man, so I dressed as one and even drew a really authentic looking moustache on my face! It was great fun, and a good way to shift the way my friends think about gender.

  • Oh, and I hope yall had fun at the prom!! Cuz that's the most important part! :)

    <3Z

  • for your info... i made this vid to teach others how to LOOK LIKE A MAN for entertainment purposes. no need for comments like this. ask before judging.

  • OMG allie's prom! u guys r so lucky u could dress up in drag for the prom! i wish i cud :( so badly!

  • Oxygene by Jean Michel-Jarre, original was released in the late 70's but this is most likely a remixed version (but check out the original version - it rocks!!!)

  • ive searched for the JMJ soundtrack, but cannot find this tune.

thanks for trying to provide the name of the soundtrack anyway.

    much appreciated.

if anyone else knows what the soundtrack is i would be grateful if u could name it. thx.

  • what is the soundtrack?

    thx.

    :)

  • I can't use ace bandages, my boobs are too big. I use either a strip of fabric and safety pins, or another shirt, then I put duct tape or masking tape over it. That way, it isn't horribly uncomfortable with my skin, and it restrains better then ace bandages.

  • chick at the beginning is fuckin hotttttt

  • I use eyelash glue & real hair as facial hair. I have way too large breasts to be able to pull off the "bare chested" look.

Right now, I'm rocking the soul patch and moustache option. It's not bad, just very sweaty - I hate performing sometimes.

  • Hang in there. Don't let the sweat get you down, :-)

  • i use spirit gum and real hair as my goatee... right now i don't show off my chest yet because my boobs are too big... but a back brace will work great as a binder

  • ive just started drag is there a more comfortable option other than ace bandages i can use when im working out or when im in a fight (im a boxer) help plz

  • Try ftm(dot)underworks(dot)com. Most transguys I know use underworks binders and find them much more comfortable and safer than ace bandages. Good luck.

  • thank yew

  • I just started to do drag, actually last week and let me tell ya - duck tape = Painful if made contact with skin. My friend helped me and he taped them and hit my skin, so if i moved the wrog way... well anyways; ths is helpful and this will help me for tuesday at my first solo performance. THANKS!

  • Great video. I never considered the napkin + tape method. Looks great!

  • i love this i am a gay female in a hetro relationship but have always wanted to go in to the drag king thing.

i think you would look super cute with a jaw line goatee too.

Oh and I have really big boobs and a tiny waist (31f/28inch waist) what is the best way to cover this.

  • re: robinm1chelle I've seen youtube vids where large chests were bound with a sports bra under ace bandage. There are other options that might work better that can be found googleing chest binding. The cosplay site has a thread on how to make shoulders, hips, waist, etc. look more male. My friend who binds has told me to wear it around the house and make sure you can breathe ok and get used to moving in it before wearing out.

  • Binding with a small sports bra, duct tape over that, so it looks like you got some nice pecs. Wear baggy pants (South Pole or Jnco styles are hot or preppy lookin guy jeans), with a black or brown belt, it's ok if your jeans hang low on your ass, just wear boxers underneath. Lots of drags have small waists. But it's still hot. Don't worry so much about your body, you'll look good. focus more on your performance, interacting with the audience members (big way to get tips). Be sexy n funny :-)

  • that Jesse guy is cute! :D

  • how do you apply the facial hair with the hairspray?

  • This is what I'm wondering.

  • Use either spirit gum (and take off with spirit gum remover) or a friend of mine suggested eyelash glue. She says eyelash glue works best.

  • Hm, very interesting. I like people who are

    androgynous!

  • use old woman's pants, the large ones which are 100% elastic material, sew them tighter. they can flatten very large breasts

  • does anyone know how to bind for big chest? How you hide those things? lol

  • Kinging takes a lot of hard work, yes I may have only done it once but I've watched others before me go through the work and the time to perfect their performances, bind their chests, and put on the make up to where they looked more as a man than my own husband.

  • God, even with the binding and the sports bra I still had a chest. I used ace bandages. I'm wondering if I should have used a wider bandage. How uncomfortable is taping and what kind of tape would be the best to use on skin?

  • I think I've heard some people say medical tape of some sort is best -- try googling it if no one else gives you a reply on this. I've also heard that duct tape hurts like hell to take off pretty much no matter what.

  • If you are going to use tape of any kind I would suggest putting it over a sports bra, cuz honestly I think it will all hurt the same. Clear duct tape will look best if you will be showing any skin off, like for an open-shirt type of style or if you are wearing a vest or tank top. Have another person assist you in wrapping the duct tape and make sure there are no creases so it doesn't look bumby. Maybe wear loser fitting shirts over your binding.

  • Drag kinging is frickin hard work I tell ya! I just started and it already gets me tired, but I don't give up. Not only do u have to know how to dance, lip sync on target, act and have a way with the ladieds, but u gotta work out and build some muscles, eat healthy and come up with a dance routine that people will enjoy. It's hard work, but someone's gotta do it!

  • Don't use hairspray to apply crepe wool, use spirit gum. Then use spirit gum remover to take it off. Before applying the crepe wool draw an outline or a shading with an eyeliner.

  • Binding isn't bad, as long as you don't do it too tightly. Wear a tank top underneath, so when u sweat. Wear a sports bra over the binding, it helps u to look more flat. Be sure it's a size down from what u usually wear. But yes, binders that fit your needs, those may be better suited, it just depends on the person.

The Art of Drag Kinging, by Dante Difranco (Julie "Jitterbug" Pearce), is an excellent book for the serious Drag Kinger! :-)

  • Maybe you need to think about why you are so insecure as to "see" this trait in others.

  • You really have no idea what drag is about.

  • Not necassarily. But your strong opinion on this subject makes me wonder if you are implying that you are a transvestite. Are you a transvestite, who relies on sterotypical images from other people and need this to exist?

Myself, I am a drag king named J.D. and yes I rely on this character to exist in the world of drag, on stage that is :-) Well, at least the stage is the direction I am headed!! :-) I am not a transvestite. I am a beautiful lez woman out of drag. And a handsome boi in drag:-)

  • I do incorprate both sterotypes about men and what I feel makes a dude into my character. My character, JD is my alter ego, is someone I admire, is a parody of a man, making fun of man that is. Just as drag queens are, they are parodies of woman. Drags are impersonaters. Drag kings impersonate men. Both women and men can be drag kings, regardless of their sexuality. U just gotta have style, dance moves, acting skills and a way with the ladies! :-) To be the best that is. Do u got what it takes?

  • Wow! Really?! You obviously know nothing about drag. Also, FYI to other viewers: neither duct tape or an ace badages are safe binding tools. (I have a scar from my duct tape days.) Do an internet search for ftm binders that fit your needs. They come in many different styles and don't have to be expensive.

  • do you know what a transvestite is? They simply cross dress. If you're trying to talk about people who have sex changes, then they're transexuals.

and not everyone thrives to assimilate into the heterosexual world.

  • just wondering but i just wonder on how can one do that if they dont have the help of another for the binding of the boobs?

  • You can do most of this yourself. It may take some practice though...

  • good song from begin '00

  • Cute. I usually ware a tank top and put the tape around that.

  • You look like true mafioso ;) Nice video

  • Good video!

  • the second girl could of just pretended she had man boobs lol

  • Oof, ace bandage binding... PAIN!

  • I love that little dance that you do when you get your mustache put on. ^_~

    Love the music too

  • yea whats the point if they have no boobs to begin with?

  • real nice.. informative

  • I found this video so helpful. Thanks a bunch for posting it! My school's GSA is holding an amateur drag show and I can't wait to dress up and perform!

  • No, I go to Goucher. Our PRISM group holds a Mica-Goucher joint Drag Ball during the spring semester.

Hopefully, its not during Human vs Zombies this year.

  • this is gonna help me so much when Drag Ball comes around next semester.

    Thx 4 posting!!

  • Do you go to Evergreen? Because the EQA is having a drag ball next quarter.

  • when the beard was being put on it looked like make up. Did the hair stick on okay the whole night? it was just hairspray u used right?

  • i'm not using my account but the answer to your question: yeah it did stick through the whole night =) its if you rub it off then pieces will fall but its pretty good. other ppl use other things like eyelash glue or spirit??? oh well... but yeah i used hairspray because it was something that was laying around.. and it worked =)

  • that was impressive. nice work.

  • This was pretty brilliant. I wish my city had a LGBTQ prom.

  • where are you from? and thanks =)

  • Houston. I actually googled it and found out we have one, but I missed it! I'll catch it next year though!

  • Luckily,I really have no boobs. I'm only in a 36 A. And I've pretty much stopped growing. lol.

  • ha ha ha... thats my size too =)

  • Wow, same size here, too! We're lucky to have it easy when it comes to binding... Except for face shapes! Mine is too round... :(

  • What if my boobs are too big for binding?

  • Try wearin multiple sport bras. :)

  • Awesome. You looked good! That goatee was on point..this is a great help since i have a babyface and look wierd with most facial hair. the boob thing was great too; great help on disguising the boys...girls...twins lol. anyway great vid.

  • doesn't that hurt

why would any girl want to do that

  • when i took the tape off. and girls do it for fun or they're expermenting or because they're perfroming like i am or did =) thanks for the comment

  • clever

  • anyone know the name of this song?

  • nniiccee!! ==))

  • Go jogging and do press ups every day to reduce your cleavage. Also, wearing sports bras all the time (at night as well) can hold them in if they're too big to bind at the moment... then after a few months you'll find they're tighter or perkier... worked for me anyway.

  • press ups are the same as sit ups right???

  • No, press ups are your arms, and sit ups are your stomach.

  • wow im a re re. i ment to ask is press ups were the same as push* ups..

  • Lol, well yeah press up are push ups.

  • that's hot. lol

  • i wonder, when you can't find spirit gum to hold the facial hair on is hairspray or regular elmer's glue better?

also, you are really really hot. but soooo young. thank god there's an ocean between us.

  • niice

  • really good video

  • In my experience, ACE bandage isn't all that great to use. Not only can it cause broken ribs and stuff as the video says, but it also slips down all the time and is extremely uncomfortable. I personally recommend anything from T Kingdom Binders and Underworks.

  • only women with small titties can pull that off. i know i cant..

  • cool this helps!

  • small boobies

  • cool
