Second of all, if you knew anything about Mandisa, you would know that she is a very sweet person who has struggled with her weight for most of her life and is working very hard to fix that. She has lost about 85 pounds and is still going strong, but her message about true beauty still stands.

um i think mandisa has been more successful than katherine.. mandisa has written a book, been nominated for a grammy and dove award, a christmas cd and is working on her 2nd gospel album... what is katherine doing besides being a wife? she got dropped from her label. that pretty much sums it up
Actually Katharine asked to be let out of her contract so she could pursue acting and other music. She recently starred in the movie "House Bunny" and has been acting in a few other films that have not premiered yet. Also Katharine is working with uber-talented David Foster on a second cd.

this is superflyowns sister.okay jkcurry87. grow up, you really want to know why mandisa wrote that lyric because she is saying she doesnt need material things to make her happy in life i saw her in concert and she spreads an amazing message to people world round, and what do katharine and kellie do, nothing exactly. she's a christian and wouldnt get jealous of those little things, honestly i think you are jealous of her becaus eshe actually has a good life and knowshow to treat people.

umm. this isnt suoperflyowns its his sister, and jkcurry87, mandisa isnt "jealous" of katherine or kellie, she wrote that lyric because she is saying she doesnt need material things in life to have pleasure, and i saw her in concert and she said the only reason she likes to perform in front of everyone and sing is to share her faith in God and spread christiaity. honestly i think you are jealous of her. so grow up.

Did anyone else get that jab she was taking at Kellie Pickler and Katharine McPhee. She says "and you keep all your red high heels and open toe'd shoes" Kellie Pickler had a song "Red High Heels" and Katharine McPhee on her first cd had a song "Open Toes".
She must be jealous that they have more success than her, why else whould she make a lyric like that?

um i think mandisa has been more successful than katherine.. mandisa has written a book, been nominated for a grammy and dove award, a christmas cd and is working on her 2nd gospel album... what is katherine doing besides being a wife? she got dropped from her label. that pretty much sums it up

Actually Katharine asked to be let out of her contract so she could pursue acting and other music. She recently starred in the movie "House Bunny" and has been acting in a few other films that have not premiered yet. Also Katharine is working with uber-talented David Foster on a second cd.
I wasn't trying to say Mandisa wasn't successful, I meant she is less known to mainstream America. Her success is in the Christian genre, whereas Kellie and Katharine are more secular and mainstream.
