  • he must have done it for the money. wait, that's we all do every day. jeeez. (the guy declared bankruptcy twice. he was a great architect, fo' shizzle, but couldn't handle money to save his life.)

  • @olafbigandglad FLW wasn't motivated by money, he was motivated by his art. If more in the world were like him, it would be a much different, much richer place.

  • Yes Wright did design a Laundry in 1948, project was called Adelman laundry, Milwaukee, see it on page 176 in Wrights book "A Testament" .

  • Why in Hell would FLW design a gas / service station ? Did he design any laundromats or fast - food places, too ?

  • what the fuck have u designed?

  • Wright hated cars & gas stations! He designed 3-wheel electrics & hid gas stations under flowered bridges! Now we are getting Fuel-Free Transport, he should rise up from his grave, rub his eyes & smile sweetly! Last years of his life were hell - with Bauhaus blocks, stick houses, miracle miles going up everywhere! Nature paved over by the oil Industrial-military complex! Hell on Earth - all in the name of "Consumer Democracy"!

  • FLW only designed one mortuary in his career and its located at 707 Browning Road in Delano, CA. Its called Delano Mortuary, you gotta check this mortuary out...its one of a kind!

  • HAHAHAHA

  • frank lloyd wrong?

    maybe?

    thanks

  • Oh, it's hideous. I go by there every couple months. I don't think FLW ever actually visited the place.
