For everyone that seems to be up in arms about Flash on the Samsung, it was left on because the average user will never turn it off, or even know it can be disabled. They will just open the browser and enter a web address.

And for those that say it was unfair because the phones are on different carriers, both phones were connected to the same Wi-Fi network with a 50Mbps high speed Internet connection.

I notice ALL iphones look the same but some people with other types of smartphones have even photos in the backgrounds of their keyboards. @MABeezy009 justify your statements with facts as i would mine, the first iPhone was announced in 07 with a capacitive touch screen, iOS ,4/8/16 gb storage with a really good build quality using mainly metal and glass, since then all other mobile phone companies have been trying to catch up. even today apple devices are topping the market, apple sold 4million iPhone 4s's in three days, and in terms of ui iOS has a very user friendly ui, i can stand behind my statement with facts how about you?

@Meluhdy This is not the place to do it. This video's about browser speed comparison not features. Here's a few: I want unrestricted access to the full web, not part of it. If I go to a car show, I want to go to car manufacturers websites at the show, I can't w/o flash. I also can't look at TONS of free adult content on the web w/o Flash (hee hee - true). I considered an iPad2 & went to an Apple store. He tried to load up Motorola's site for comparison reasons. He couldn't & was embarrassed.

How about turning off the Flash on the Galaxy S II and see what happens with speed? Why would you leave it on and then make excuses for the IPhone 4S being slow?? The 4S is supposed to be about twice as fast as the Galaxy S II according to bench marks. This proves real world speed and bench marks are two different things. Also; at least you have the OPTION for Flash on the Samsung, allowing you to have a FULL browsing experiance compaired to Apple's dumbed sown browsing experience.

Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs. But the mobile era is about low power devices, touch interfaces and open web standards – all areas where Flash falls short."

I want a full web browsing experiance though, so I will not own an iPAD(x) or iOS device until they do, which likely will be never. Like you said; "To each their own". So if you are happy with it that, go ahead. As for this video, I would have found it interesting to see two similar web pages rendered by the Samsung and Iphone4s.

@Meluhdy I didn't say it was a bad OS, I said the web browsing is incomplete. It is not a full browsing experience without Flash. It's needed. If you Love apps, then iOS would suit you better. If you want a better web browsing experience, Android is the way to go. If you want a tablet and use Google Earth a lot, then Android is the way to go. If you want to play tons of games, then the iPad2 wins hands down. It's what your in to.

@kenoshabrew First of all, HTML5 is the new standard, flash is being phased out. Most major sites already use html5, and those that do not are behind and scrambling to do so. iOS offers a faster browser, which I'd say offers a much better experience than the android browser, which has not aged so well. It also has the reader capability, and the double tap to zoom in is much more accurate, and smoother pinch to zoom. By the way, I just viewed many car manufacturers' sites on my iPhone.

When you put two devices up and measure browsing speed, at least have them set up the same and render the same things. That was why he went to the same pages in the first place. Yeah, but with a Samsung Galaxy S II, you'll need two hands for things you could've done with one hand with an Iphone or any phone that is less than 4" screen size. Unless you have big hands, and yes you can do things with one hand but is unstable with large Android. Owned an Android phone for 2 years, and 50 Android phone releases later, Disappointed at the large screen trend. Apple/Blackberry did research on phone sizes long ago, Motorola/Samsung/HTC only cares about money.
