I would like to have seen a report on Florence.

The mayor of this city has launched a civil disobedience protest against a directive from the un-elected commission !

The free citizens of Florence wish to continue their OLD TRADITION of enjoying a roll and a glass of wine (a "gottino") bought from street vendors.

This is "illegal" under EU law (like many traditions are becoming).

Sadly " Unity in diversity" means nothing in Brussels,it's just a catchy propoganda soundbite.
