  • This song is a fucking beast!!!!!!

I love how its all shredlike at first, then it hits you with some 3:03, then kicks you into groove mode at 5:37. What a guitar player Vinnie is!

  • Hey! Please, What amps and distorsion/overdrive pedals used Vinnie in Mind's Eye, Time Odyssey, Meltdown, and The Maze.

I just find the recent ones. Thank so very much, huge fan of Vinnie's playing and tone..

Saludos.

  • buena musica del speed methal

  • Interesting. Many well-known virtuosos pick this guy as one of their strongest influences, yet Moore himself isn't very well known nowadays. I've listened to Malmsteen, I tried MacAlpine, yet compared to Moore they're both boring as hell. I guess I now have some new licks to learn.

  • For those making frivolous comparisons between Vinnie Moore and Yngwie Malmsteen: PLEASE STOP!!!

Comparing VM to YM is like comparing space aliens to handicapped infants.

  • vinnie is freemason

  • Best Guitarrist ever, and this song is a holy gift of this god to us, the simple mortals

  • It's AMAZING!

    Got it? Maze? Amazing?

    ...I'm sorry

  • I was an athiest 9 minutes ago....

  • it was awesome......

  • I want this to be my theme song when I commence in action!

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwwwwesommmmeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best arrangements ever !! love it :)

  • The bass solo from 5:11 - 5:20 or so is just awesome.

I love this song for the little solo sessions all from 5:00 - 6:17 or so.

    Great song!

  • 4:04-4:13 Make me want to weep.

  • parts of this remind me of castlevania. =D

  • What an album this is! pretty sure this is the one that even has Tony Macalpine on keyboards. My god its just too much

  • THE GUITAR IS FUCKING TALKING, IS THAT NORMAL?

    5*

  • Thumbs up if you think the 2 dislikers are just mad they can't play these riffs.

  • Thumbs up if you think the 2 dislikers are just mad they can't play these riffs

  • this song is one of the most epic pieces of all time. vinnie is one of the most underrated guitarests ever. looking at vinnies competition in the genre of neo classical metal i belive that he is the best. he can do everything that the supposed king of neoclassical metal can (yngwie) but yngwie cant stray away from the same arpeggios or sweeps. love yngwie but hes not nearly as good as vinnie or tony macalpine or joe stump. just because he created the genre doesnt mean hes still the best

  • @PinkFloyd7874

Whoa whoa whoa...Joe Stump? That guy's the biggest yngwie wannabee. I mean yeah Macalpine, Vinnie Moore, and dozens of others are "Different" than yngwie. But Joe Stump no, that guy's a shredaholic just like yngwie. And Yngwie deserves every bit of credit he's EARNED. Everyone's the best at what they do, Yngwie's best at being Yngwie, and Vinnie Moore's best at being Vinnie Moore.

  • This song is amazing, Vinnie is amazing, but not only this is just pure guitar shredding, there's a bass solo, drum solo, and a keyboard solo too. Thats just pretty cool, man \m/

  • Two people were expecting some dope rap.

  • One of the best shredders ever. Easily one of the most musical. Actually plays with taste and writes some beautiful melody as opposed to just balls out shred, not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • 20 years ago ... back to the seminal For skills I could never get tired of art Sr.

  • Phenomenal playing !!

  • Vinnie Moore es un Dios!!!

  • This would make the best Final Fantasy Boss music ever...

  • @PimpmoGuitarman Like a giant space dragon?

  • bass SLAAAAP! with jazz metal combo = excellence!

  • great

  • I love how he changes modes, keeps me listenin

  • looks like Gandalph discovered the guitar.

  • Totally awesome :)

  • vinnie just kicks fuckin shit ass

  • that album cover is really suspicious

  • Vinnie Moore's Maze album is really aMAZEing!!!

  • haha yyeeaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 666

    (:

    (L)

    (K)

  • CANT. STOP. LISTENING.

  • ...even after years of music, this is still a masterpiece!

  • whooo 3:18 makes my hair stand on end

  • the bass part is the best \m/

  • good song would be better with vocals, btw i think tmac makes ore enjoyable instrumentals, this sounds like a song with out vocals

  • Dave La Rue on bass.Tony MacAlpine keyboards.

  • i love this song!!! half way there....hahahz

  • Same structure of Jazz music... THIS ! IS "REAL MUSIC !!!"

  • @Naka3169 The structure is classical.Not jazz.

  • @gebass6 Alright what ever... this is Awsome ! x)

  • the only tab for this on ultimate-guitar was a guitar pro, downloading GP6 demo just know to learn this shit!! RAWR!

  • excelente cancion !!

  • vinnie moore owns malmsteen

  • @musikkkkk

Please, I respect his man a lot, but he does not own Malmsteen!

  • @crazymike1706 -i agree vinnie is good but no one can beat yngwie in this style of playing!

  • @CTROCK It's because that's all he plays!

  • @UnknownSect333 right on forget these artards..moore whoops maleemsteens harm minor ass in the end of "race w destiny" without even trying.

  • @musikkkkk Malmsteen is a more technical player but Vinnie Moore songs are way better

  • @musikkkkk i would have to disagree

  • @1969rayzor Maybe not speed-wise, but when it comes to music, that's where Vinnie takes the lead. I love Yngwie's music, but the neo-classical stuff gets pretty old really quick... He has some variety, not as much as VM, though.

  • That is Hot!!!

  • Needs for Joe Lynn Turner or Mark Boals vocals to be perfect!

  • Does someone have the matematical patron for the principal solo?

  • Vinnie's style of music is just perfect.

  • This is SO MUCH FUN to drum.

  • damn, I fucking love this song, vinnie rulz !!!

  • I LOVE SHRED

  • He is my inspiration, I grew up listening to him and I never thought that i'd become a musician because of him.

  • @apoicdano Dam right !!!

  • more emotional that yngwie malmsteen today!!!!

    vinnie moore neoclasic with emotions!!!!!!

  • Hell yeah, Vinnie is one of the greatest musicians in shred, and like Paul Gilbert he is also a great teacher, if not for Vinnie Moore and Paul Gilbert i may not have learned or improved my techniqe, or been able to learn from malmsteen as i love Yngwies stuff most, but his tutoral Vids arnt as well explained or slowed down like Vinnie and Pauls hot Licks videos, im sure many shredders started there!

  • Best song of Vinnie...perfect

  • There actually seems to be a begennning and an end to storytelling here

  • i just feel he is totally amazing!!!!!

  • Vinnie Moore makes his guitar cum with his exquisite fingering skill!

  • @sterilite -> +1000000! Hahahahahaha

  • what the hell is that lick from 3:19 to 3:26!!???? He does it all the time and i'd LOVE to know how. If anybody could link me to lesson or even kinda tell me the idea behind it i'd really appreciate it. Thanks

  • @MrPirate93 Its actually an EXTREMELY easy lick. Ask me in a private message and I'll tab it for you. Its very simple

  • i don't know how to do a private message :( damn dude sorry i really appreciate you taking the time though

  • yup pandora led me to this guy. good stuff, pandora's exposing me to all sorts of greatness.

  • Joe Stump is my fave for this Shred stuff.

  • excelent song!

  • vinnie moore is just awesome..one of the best "undiscovered" guitarists ever!

  • @realdoogie

    undiscovered? he recorded with mcalpine,

he played in ufo. ufo was very famous

but yeah, he doesnt ends getting the credit he should,

  • i first heard it on pandora too lol... fucking awesome song, absolutely dig the bass too

  • Genius is this!

  • Google: 'NEOCLASSICAL METAL FORUMS' to join a friendly chat site on the NeoClassical/Shred Genre.

  • amazing!

  • Simple one of the best neoclassical/hard rock guitarist of all time... He was one of the frist who preached classical music to heavy metal... also with ritchie blackmoore, jason becker, marty friedman, paul gilbert ecc ecc

    He's a God!

  • hes pretty good.. although never heard of him be 4

  • Fuckin' good song, I'd him to do things like that nowadays. He seems to have forgotten his classic roots.

  • Comment removed
