wow..my first post disappeared..sorry. I told you I also played chromatic...was making it clear it was probably also because you were playing a chrometta (which has a harsher sound) and was telling you about slide meister web site..maybe it won't go through because I'm talking about another site? lots of chromatic players there, from Britain too..
Everybody has 'problems' with their chromatics ;) but mostly I answer other folks since I'm getting good at fixing mine..there's a new woman there with problems I've been helping. David(ElkRiver) from the same site sells seydels but you're in te UK so I'm not sure if you have a better source. The chroms don't have the stainless steel reeds, but I found the Bb to have an equivalent tone to my Super 64 (Hohner - 16)...which has beautiful tone. I think you'll like it, and it's affordable.
lol...right. not having, but helping. A new lady to the list is the one who has been asking for help so we invariably try to the best of our abilities to give our own past experiences and our solutions so new people will know we've all been through it. Nothing new under the sun.
and..the guy who runs the website likes his chromettas..they're his favourites. There is one area designated for diatonic players too...but it's primarily for chromatic players to discuss and learn.. and just interact, post videos, etc. All ages, too.
Daniel, you played the song nicely and in key, but a hand flutter isn't really necessary all of the time. If you save it for the occasional emphasis it's much more effective. Otherwise why not play a tremolo which has the vibrato built in? :) (this is not a negative comment, btw..lots of players think they have to use hand vibrato constantly once they learn it...but a throat/diaphraghmal vibrato is great too). For a terrific example of great vibrato, check out christellester on Youtube.
lol, I wasnt using it all the time, only on the held notes, I just move my hands to help me keep in time. somehow, that helps lol, but yeah, I was only using vibrato on the held notes, otherwise there just held notes lol
this is fake... nice try your cheeks aren't all puffed out and your hands are moving too fast clearly not you playing....... just joking man. Nice playing maybe check out some of my other vids where the audio and video are actually in sync. You are mistaken about my vid being a fake.
Don't smoke??? And why is that??? It doesnt effect my playing in the slightest and I like smoking... so yeah, I think I might jut carry on:s

I have a source down here yes:) If I remember correctly, you were having a valve problem on hole 2 or you were helping someone with that problem.

I dislike my chrometta:P I am going to get a seydel soon though, try that out

Christellester plays seydels ..but diatonics. I have one Bb Seydel deluxe chrom...mostly play CX-12's. Seydels are good...nice tone.

It was good to see a younger guy, appreciate an older love song, and play it very well.
