I feel bad. I like her voice and all... But Gumi and Sonica kinda got shoved out of the way by Miki. They were out for a short time, and then BAM, Miki's here, along with three other vocaloids.

I don't think the others got enough shelf time personally.

I will always like Miku, but I'm more of an Act 2 Rin Kagamine fan. I really like Sonika (when she's used right) and I love Gumi's voice because I love her VA. I'm warming up to Miki.

I'm also a huge Gakupo fan. I love Ruko too.

No. I don't like Kaito's voice, and I only like on Meiko song, but it's a dub of the song. I can't stand the early english vocaloids either. They were good ideas, but had really underdeveloped voices to me.

Gumi and Sonica aren't the best, though. They have a unique sound(I like em, especially Gumi), of course, but Miki is like a souped up version of Miku, meaning it sounds better in terms of pronunciation. As such, Miki would clearly be more popular. The other two "singers" that came out with her didn't do too well either, mostly because their sounds aren't all that amazing, though the creepy-loli-school-girl-Yuki has eerily good English word pronunciation.

Every Vocaloid is like a Universe, every Vocaloid has a lot of songs that don't even make it to YT, a story :D I don't believe any Vocaloid has replaced another, because their voices are unique.

It's a personal opinion, based on what I see on YT.

I've been around Nico Nico, but I don't avidly go there. Like I said, this is my opinion. Even though each Vocaloid has their own following, in a way, I feel like because they came out so quickly, there was still a little bit of the same thing on Nico too.

I personally can't pick from any because all of them have their good qualities and some are good for certains songs while others are good for others. I only have favorite Vocaloid(s) based on which songs they sing.

Nope, Miki is one of the latest vocaloids. Miki Furukawa (Bassist/alternate singer of Supercar and now solo artist..) did her voice.

That should be Miku Hatsune and Miki Furukawa. Miku Hatsune is a vocaloid, Miki Furukawa is a real-life artist.

The full name of this vocaloid is SF-A2 Miki.

Miki is one of my favorite vocaloids, together with Gumi. ^^ They're awesome.

Yes, she is a vocaloid, but like all vocaloids she has a voice-artist, one who have recoded the voice. I don't know many on the top of my head but for example Miki is based on Miki Furukawa, Gackupo is made by Gackt and Miriam by Miriam Sherley...
