Earth gets destroyed at least 4 times in it. the bulk of this is from the surprise christmas attack by the Zentraedi "Khyron the Backstabber" if you can identify any scenes not from Robotech or Macross in this let me know.

@robinrinsmith Uh the threat of nuclear war ended at the end of the eighties?I don't know what planet you live on but the threat still exists to this day,infact the possibillity may be even higher now than it was during the cold war.Lots of nuclear weapons between the US,Russia,and China and incase you haven't noticed relations between those countries are not at an all time high.

@OrchidOxycodone well, the threat's still there but it's nowhere near as high as it was years ago. I lived through the eighties and people worried about it quite a bit. There were dozens of books and movies about the world ending in a nuclear holocaust. Nowadays, people live more in fear of a terrorist attack, 9/11 style.

Just so everyone knows, this song was released in November 1986 - long before the September 11th attacks. In this song, "Ground Zero" was used in its original literary application. It was only after 9/11/01 that the media decided that Ground Zero would from henceforth be an iconic reference to the former site of the World Trade Center Buildings in NYC. The People obeyed, and dutifully forgot the phrase is a generic term for the target of ANY bomb or missile.
