  • Does the teint innocence oxidizes? Is iy good fir oily skin?

  • @misskimaru It's one of the better cream compacts for oily skin and yes, it does oxidize!

  • Your so cute!!! haha

  • What color was the Chanel foundation?

  • this tutorial doesn't work because you already have FLAWLESS SKIN!=] your so lucky!

  • You look beautiful either with or without makeup! [:

  • what shade do you use in the chanel foundation and what would the color be in comparison to mac?

  • @desirichardtf 20 when I'm pale and up to 40 when I'm tan :)

  • when i use foundation brush, the bristles marks on my face. so whenever i look closely to the mirror, there are lines by the brush, any tips for me??? please???

  • @eamsessor Don't push the brush in one direction all across your face, move the brush in all angles and gently pat down with your fingers :)

  • wow, you use some VERY EXPENSIVE products!! not practical for most people.

  • @capchoi These are tutorials meant to demonstrate how to use these products! You do not, however, have to use the same products I do to achieve the same look.

  • For Teint Inncocence, does it work with combination skin? and how long does it last? (if you use a primer, what?) Thanks, Meghan

  • @thefiercestdiva It works well with combination skin but you should use a primer + powder. That way, it will last you 6 or 7 hours :)

  • korean superstars can 'excentuate' their natural beauty because they all have plastice surgery...

  • @hanaryukoku You mean "accentuate"? And even with plastic surgery, make-up can always help enhance features :)

  • very good tutorial!! i absolut love it

  • @sonydvd2010 Thank you!

  • I'm going for the flawless radiant shiny(not glittery) natural face. I'm very pale and i'm now using my liquid concealer as a hightlighter. it's not bad but I'm hoping a real highlighter would look much better. applying light coloured or shimmery power makes me look dull and cakey...I've seen someone use ysl radiant touch, is it good?my skin tends to flake.but it's also oily sometimes. what would you recommend? HELP! thanks :D i'm asian btw, n i kinda haf a rounder version of ur face lol

  • @MiniMikiii You are referring to YSL's Touche Eclat, which is indeed very good. I use it in a tutorial, Matte Make-up and YSL Touche Eclat How-To!

  • @RAEview can you recommend any other highlighters? I just want to know so i can try everything out. n i'm shocked at how fast you replied! :D

  • @MiniMikiii I like Benefit's High Beam and Moon Beam!

  • you have extremely nice skin. you should do a video on your skin care routine.

  • @P3RSONALANG3L I actually do have a few skincare videos posted!

  • awww...you look like my cousin ...you're both pretty..

  • Hey I was wondering what name of lenses are you wearing?

  • @TaeHeeAsianGirl Angel EX brown lenses :)

  • Hello! your video is amazing! Now i am looking for the right primer and foundation because my skin is oily and easily gets breakouts. It really frustrates me every time I bought a foundation. Now I am using Bobbi Brown non- oil foundation number 2. And I was wondering what primer you would recommend me? Also, my cheeks aren't skinny and pretty like yours, the people recommend me to wear bronze in the cheekbones to look skinnier. But i want to hear from you. What would you recommend for cheeks?:)

  • @0208georgia Dior Forever sounds perfect for you! My best friend has skin just like yours and she switches off between Forever and Dior Nude but Forever will keep the oil at bay more effectively :) Some great primers for oily skin are Laura Mercier's Oil-Free in the tube and Hourglass' Mineral Veil, available at Sephora. You can use bronzer to sculpt your face but recommend apply blusher to the tops of the cheekbones instead of on the apples. That's why my face looks thin ^_~

  • Love it! I was wondering if you can do a longer review on the teint innocence compact ? I'm planning on trying it out buy I wanna hear more reviews about it and I've seen your other reviews; you're really good at reviewing products with very precise and honest details :). Please and thanks !

  • @skeptiqs Yes, I will try to film a review soon!

  • wow i think this was one of the best and most accurate versions of "Korean actress" makeup look. if you know who jung saem mool is , you should check out her videos. im my opinion you did something very similar to one of the looks she did. very nice :)

  • @totorosan428 I adore Jung Saem Mool! I've been subscribed to her for a while now :) Thank you!

  • @RAEview yeah jung saem mool is such an artist, shes soo inspiring. just the way she deals with her subjects , by gently putting on the makeup and the way she holds her brushes is amazing !

  • another tip is that koreans use more of grey tinted brow powders, pencils, etc rather than brown

and i know, i always had arched eyebrows since i live in the states but when i went to korea every1 had full straight brows!

    i was like..ummmm...0ok than..

and alot of korean actresses, use brown eyeliner and really just tightline it..and use individual lashes since it dsnt look clumpy.

    and its called tightlining..

when u put liner on the top flap of skin

  • Among your videos, your this look is the best ,natural and pretty.

  • hi Rae, I am a huge fan of yours and i love all of your videos. i watched your videos all day, before i sleep, after i wake up. kind of obsession haha. btw, i have a question. have you ever tried BB cream? do you like it and do you recommend using BB cream or should I just stick to moisturizer/base/foundation/power pack/blush routine?

  • love this look-so cute :)

    and you're pretty!

  • This is by far the best natural makeup tutorial I've seen on YouTube. Thanks so much!

  • Hi Rae! I am interested in the Rouge Interdit lipsticks next, and was wondering what your thoughts were on them. Have you tried the Rouge Interdit Shines as well? Thanks a bunch! =D

  • @juujubez I like my RI but I don't love it. The colors are wearable but I would recommend you spend a few dollars extra and purchase a Chanel lipstick instead. The RI Shines are very sheer and some leave glitter behind long after the color has faded away :) Good luck!

  • @RAEview Thanks for the advice! Yay! Now I have an excuse to go buy another Chanel lippie: ``Rae told me to.`` =D. I admit I was initially interested because of the nice packaging =).

  • @juujubez LOL Givenchy's packaging is nice but the Chanel's plastic holds up better :) Justifications, justifications! ^^

  • So, on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being really great), how would you rate the Chanel Teint Innocence compact? Quality, coverage, packaging, price, and amount included... I am really contemplating on buying it, but I want another person's review first. Thanks! Great video by the way. I love this look :)

  • @squozenmango 5. The TI is my favorite compact foundation!

  • what makeup do you recommend for an interview? ^^

  • @sam112233210 Clean, matte skin and minimal eye make-up!

  • you look like kim chu here in the philippines.. i like your tutorial.. <3333

  • hi Rae I love this tutorial but i was just wondering, i have acne/acne scars/ n big pimple sooo u can say that my skin isn't rlly good. If I buy all these makeup and do this look can this tutorial cover up my skin problems like completly????? Before school, I really need omething like a cover up for my skin can this do the trick??

  • @cluo1998 These tutorials are just a guide, not a guarantee. Why don't you try visiting a make-up counter and see what an artist can do for your skin? You need to learn how to use the products you purchase so that's the best way to find out what you like :) And instead of only covering up your skin problems, try to invest in more skin care products, too! Good luck ^^

  • Hi Rae this look is perfect all year round!:-) I would like to ask you pls, . . .My teint inoocence shade is BEIGE 40 which Chanel powder would be most suitable over it pls? do you think the peach you used is ok? Thanks!

  • @debonolara It may be slightly too light for you =( Stick to the Poudre Libre in 40!

  • you're the prettiest without makeup :3 <3

  • This is really pretty~

  • I have kinda pig pores, sensitive skin and breakouts at times. So would this be really suitable for me?

My lips are also thick, with a tad dark layer around the lips, so i'm kinda afraid to put anymore lipstick. And i don't really like to go around testing for a suitable lip colour. :D

  • @saintadele I would suggest you stick to opaque nudes or really dark, dramatic colors like burgundy or blood red. But this look will be suitable whether you have big pores and acne-prone, sensitive skin. You just need to find the right foundation but that can only be done by trial-and-error!

  • ur already sooo beautiful to wear make up

and i agree that it highlights ur feautures

  • I really like your tutorials and thanks for your helpful tips!

  • thanks so much, this is really helpful, will try it out!

  • this is a gorgeous look! can you please recommend any alternative soft pink blush? i cannot wear blush because my cheeks are rabidly red and so are my lips. will the rouge interdit in number 2 actually look nude on super pigmented lips?

    thanks :)

  • @wefadetogray Try Katie by Illamasqua. If you have irritated cheeks, stay away from shimmery blushers, as they will highlight any skin imperfections! And all the Rouge Interdits are opaque in three swipes so yes, they will look nude even on super pigmented lips.

  • hi!! do you like the ysl touche eclat or the benefit highlighters?

  • @sam112233210 They're all lovely products =)

  • obsession over chanel

  • hello~ ^^

what circle lenses are you wearing in this tutorial? Thank you!

  • Very pretty ! just the right tutorial I was looking for :)

Thanks for such a well thought-out look ! it suits you so well :D

  • @bananaTC Aww, thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it =)

  • where do you buy Dr.brands pores no more primer?I love this look by the way..its perfect for everyday wear to work in the hospital.;0

  • @SV12341 You can purchase Dr. Brandt at Sephora! And yes, it's casual enough to wear in the hospital =)

  • you look very pretty :)

  • you are so pretty!

    thanks for the tutorial :)

  • very pretty. :)

  • @chizzeee Thank youuu ^^

  • just wondering.. how do you remove a strong eyeliner thats on your waterline?? cause i use a q-tip thingy but it irritates my eyes sooooooo much

    TIA <3

    btw youre so beautiful...

  • @jkim0432 Aww, thank you! I don't have a problem with removing eyeliner on my waterline. I either use my Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil - Fresh or Lancome Bi-Facil!

  • are you ever going to make a video with your twin sista? haha.

  • @heartwillfall We've filmed one before but it was just a test run. I will try to have one posted in the summer!

  • @RAEview Oh, I didn't know you had a twin sister! I also have one, I'd love to see a video of you two!^^

  • Love this look, very natural and beautiful... you're gorgeous! ; )

  • @Cyndirelli That's very sweet of you =) Thanks!

  • thank you, im looking forward to the review.<3

  • @heartwillfall You're welcome!

  • Where do you purchase Bobby brown mkup products?

  • @iheartubbyy You can purchase them from any Nordstrom department store or Bobbi Brown's website ^^

  • What's your shade in the Chanel Teint Innocence Compact? Planning to get one... I also have combo/dry skin, will it be cakey?

  • @DriedKimchi In the winter, I use 10 and then one shade up in the summer. It won't look cakey on combination skin. Just make sure to set your face with powder!

  • can you do a review on the teint innocence compact?

because i was thinking of buying one... but im not too sure.

  • @heartwillfall Yes, I will =)

  • Thanks this really helps, and I also just started watching your videos. I really love them.

  • @amaya8731 I'm glad they help; thank you so much for watching!

  • You remind me of Son Ga In, so gorgeous.

  • @OneEyedSmileyFry That's too flattering a comparison but thank you ^^

  • @RAEview Well I think you are both really pretty! you're welcome. :)

  • I just found your vids. Im really enjoying them as you talk about skincare as well whereas most gurus now just talk about make up.

I was wanting to try to Ole Henrikssen range so perhaps I will go to sephora to have a look now.

    :)

  • @cherry2909 I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying them! Definitely check out the Ole Henricksen products; they're worth your time and your money ^^

  • @vanillafully No worries =) I also have to manually approve comments first, so just keep that in mind if you don't see your comments immediately!

  • @vanillafully Please, hit "post" only once, even if YouTube shows "Error." Thank you! I will probably have a video on fragrances eventually but really, I don't do anything for my nails. I only let them grow out when I get lazy =) I think they key is that I don't get acrylic nails done too often, which absolutely ruin my nails for months after I take them off!

  • @ phosphoenolpyruvat I'm sorry I accidentally deleted your comment! I was trying to get rid of the re-posts =( But thank you! I'm glad you're going to give the look a go. It's beautiful on everyone!

  • you are so rich!!! all chanel products

  • @andit06 Please...I wish I was rich. I WORK. End of story!

  • ur eyebrow is kind of fake tho... shud be more natural

  • @PIXIECHUA You can make your eyebrows look however you'd like; this is just how I prefer to do mine!

  • great tut...love it!

  • @Gabberhoer Thank you!!

  • hi i just purchased the chanel TI because of you! and i love it!! i just wanted to know your opion on how you think it wears throughout the day for you? does the chanel powder help it hold? ;D thank you

  • I will be doing a full review on the TI with YSL's compact foundation at the end of the month. But TI wears very wells for me, stays put or 6 to 8 hours, depending on what I'm doing. The Chanel powder does help the wear but it's not super effective for oil control. I use Bobbi Brown Sheer Loose Powder for best wear and anti-shine. The Chanel powder is absolutely lovely, though.

  • Great look! Just curious, what shade are you in TI?

  • @ctee80 I use Gentle Ivory but that's my winter shade so it's a tad bit light for me right now! The SoCal sun has been out and about these days so I'm trying to hurry up and use all of it.

  • Hi Rae! I'm so glad I found your channel! I really like the flawless look and heard a lot of great reviews on Chanel foundation. I just wanted to know if you have tried the Double Perfection Compact and would you prefer it over the Teint Innocence Compact. Are there any diffence? Thanks for such a great video!

  • The Double Perfection is a matte compact foundation powder while the Teint Innocence is a velvety compact creme foundation. The DP is sheer coverage, can be built to medium but then you will run the risk of looking over-powdered/cakey. The TI's coverage is close to medium. If you want to cover slight imperfections and even out your skin tone without masking your skin, the TI is for you!

  • Hi Rae, would you happen to know the difference in appearance between the Chanel Poudre Douce and the Poudre Universelle Compact? Also, I saw you used the Teint Innocence Compact - I have the liquid version - what's the difference in the result it gives?

Sorry for all the questions, but I know you are a Chanel Beauty expert! =)

  • Hello, Judes! The Poudre Douce is just a loose powder in a compact form. I like it because it's convenient for travel. No lugging around tubs of loose powder! Plus, I have it in the color Peche which looks great on my skin. The Poude Universelle is a pressed powder which is just used for touch-ups over your foundation or foundation & loose/setting powder. It's more matte than the Poudre Douce and while the Poudre Universelle has light-reflecting pigments, the Poudre Douce has an slight shimmer.

  • The Teint Innocence compact has more coverage than its liquid counterpart [nearly medium coverage as opposed to the liquid's sheer coverage]. The packaging of the creme compact is very chic and sanitary but the liquid's bottle is abominable! The differentiating factor for me is how my skin feels and reacts. Most creme foundations make me very oily but this one is so comfortable on my face! Also, my skin is velvety and smooth to the touch. It covers my red cheeks but my natural skin still shows!

  • @RAEview great, thanks!

  • Hey Rae, have you ever tried the DiorSkin Sculpt Lifting Smoothing Concealer? I heard it was really good for under the eyes so I was just wondering what you thought about it

  • It's so natural! I love it! Your so lucky, you don't have a lot of blemishes. I watched a lot of korean dramas (hahaha) and I love their clear and flawless face! Youuu koreans are so beautiful =)

  • Yes, I am lucky. I've never had major blemishes, just slightly discolored areas that are easily covered. And Korean dramas are the best! They suck the life out of you, though, but I'm sure you know that already =)

  • thanks!!!!! i think this is the best korean inspired flawless look i've seen!

  • Aww, thanks for the compliment! =)

  • I truly appreciate someone who is "big" on Skincare..so many women go out and buy all the foundations assuming that is what gives them a flawless face, when it all begins with your skin. If you don't take care of it, no product will give you a flawless finish. but love your tips!

  • Yes, I very much agree with you. Make-up shouldn't be used to cover flaws; you have to start with the canvas first! =) Thank you for your sincere comments and support!

  • You're very welcome! =)

  • Hi! I hope you'll not take it the wrong way. Your circle lenses are insanely big that they make you look like an alien. Not flattering at all! Just my opinion. Peace!

  • Hello, Monique! It's actually just the angle that my webcam is at. In person, they don't look that strange =)

  • cutee ^^ are you korean?

  • Yes, I am!

  • What kind of Circle Lens are you wearing?

  • Angel EX Brown

  • HI Rae, I really really love this look. I was wondering what shade do you use for Teint Innocence compact powder b/c I have the similar skin tone as yours. I'd love to try out this look. Thank you for the lovely tutorial :)

  • #16 Ivoire Tendre. It's slightly too light [almost insignificantly] but the next color up was too dark. That's why I used the Peche Poudre Douce after because it gives the perfect tint!

  • what color chanel foundation did you use? ^^

  • #16 Ivoire Tendre

  • love your videos. thanks for another great tutorial

  • And thank you for watching!

  • No, I've never even heard of it! The only TV I watch is Bones, House, and White Collar.

  • Yes, tonight. Once I finish eating my dinner! Give me about 45 minutes =)

  • There we go! Sorry, I'm editing my lash tutorial video now. The Orgasm shimmers aren't highly noticeable. If that's what you want, there's Super Orgasm. I've swatched that before but it the glitter was too intense for me. The original orgasm is less shimmery on the face than swatched by your finger; no worries! I would definitely consider using it as an everyday blush. In fact, my best friend/roommate Tammy does!!

  • haha yes, I was! I'm sorry I couldn't remember your username; I totally blanked out. You know, I'm very glad you mentioned it because I didn't remember the blush being this nice! LOL It makes me excited! And just to let you know, this blush is incredibly pigmented. I only needed two quick, soft swipes on the pan to get full coverage color!

  • Your very pretty ^^

I look forward into seeing more of your videos! I did your spring look today, even if I didn't have the Chanel palette xD

I was wondering, does chanel, yves saint laurent, and other branded products work well? and is it worth the price?

  • Chanel, Dior, YSL - my holy trifecta haha

Their products aren't always the best. For examples, I love the texture of Chanel foundations best but like the coverage of Dior foundations just as much. YSL has the best lipsticks and their golden glosses are out of this world. So yes, you have to pick and choose but all the products I show are amazing [at least to me]. Well worth the price tag if you buy the right products!

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave me any more questions!

  • love it! can you do a review on the chanel foundation that you use? does it cover like acne scar and under eye circle? because in the video it looks like it covers pretty well ur under eye circle before you put the bobbi brown concealer =)

  • I was planning to! The BB concealer is excellent. I was tentative about the Chanel cream foundation but I am really glad I bought it. Cream foundations generally make my face feel greasy but this covers like a dream and is very comfortable! It can cover redness but I don't think it could cover acne scars.

  • I love the look! I remember when you I think tweeted holly or was it somewhere else maybe on youtube that you asked her to check out your videos and I honestly loved it from the beginning! Your gorgeous (:

  • I'm very grateful for your support! Thank you for watching and much love for the compliment =)

  • haha no wonder some ppl dont think i look korean! (even though im 100%) lol. :o(

  • I think you look Korean! A very Americanized, gorgeous Korean! LOL

  • so pretty and radiant!

  • Hi, Catherine! Thanks so much - the camera doesn't pick up the Moon Beam that well but it's a gorgeous look, period!
