  • Donnie Darko's creepy rabbit

  • wat do u know abourU AINT FRESHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! nothing, so go on with urself...

  • Now this brings back memories!

  • You big bone head you silly rabbit. where is my hot tub time machine

  • Dam, is that Bow Wow's daddy? Looks just like him.

  • классная тема! первый раз я ее слышал в 1986 г и танцевал под нее верхний break-dance)))) потом кассета затерялась и вот чудо, я снова ее слышу спустя кучу лет!спасибо тому кто выложил! super!

  • I tried contacting thes radio station but they dont carry that stuff that they used to have on reel to reel and cart tapes. How would I find out who created the remixes? Have really cool "Roxanne Roxanne" series on cassette. And as cheesy as most of the other versions "real roxanne, roxanne shante, roxanne's parents, etc." are, they are still a cool part of early rap history. HELP!

  • Attention REALLY old schoolers: I have tons of remixes and alternate versions of these songs on CASSETTE from a radio station in ATL called V103 back when they did the Fresh Party in the early 80's. I would I go about trying to get these versions that I grew up on with the radio? I can find some things on vinyl, but they aren't the mixes that I heard on the radio.

  • "you got a bunion on ya bit toe"

  • I remember this from a while back,I did`nt even know they made a video for this.

  • Romeo look like he could have been bow-wow's daddy

  • This is one of the best videos of the 80s. Not just hip hop videos, but videos period. Visually, it's right up there with anything the Talking Heads put out. I wonder if that rabbit didn't inspire the Donny Darko writer, too. I remember having nightmares about the boogie boys creepy easter bunny. And not the cool Dana Dane type of nightmares, either.

  • gucci mane,lil b.waka flocka,oj da juiceman,souljah boy,and all the other 2000's whack ass,pre-school rappers who rap about bitches,guns,drugs,gangbanging,beef,your dick,bling,houses,your rims,your cars and other senseless shit.......................YOU AIN'T FRESH.

  • @str8outtatexas1 I LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • something tells me flaky jane wants to share her ghetto, but dont got much ghetto to share.

  • Raw drum machine gotta love it...

  • Wow! REAL Hip Hop! I 1st aw this vid on Video Music Box. Uncle Ralph McDaniels always played the "freshest" joints.

  • Three people aint fresh

  • The members that signed w/Capitol/EMI Records were William "Boogie Knight" Stroman, Joe "Romeo J.D." Malloy & Rudy "Lil Raheim" Sheriff. Lil Raheim left the group so then William & Joe pushed their dual-combined effort as "Romeo Knight."

  • Certified dopified!!!

    You ain't fresh!!

  • this was my very first rap album!

  • Those Nasty People ...How could they mental abuse y both????

  • Boogie Boys (NYC) I bought their albums and they're DOPE, but, JESUS H. CHRIST, I'm dying from laughter. THAT's Mark Mothersbaugh, Dope!!!! : )

  • @Khultan Oh snap! I thought so! I was like, "Is that Boogi Boy??" lol!

  • @AcEoMaTiK LOL : )

  • @AcEoMaTiK Aha ha ha! See, I bought ALOT of albums in my teens in the early to mid 80s, but most of their videos I had never seen but I KNEW about Devo enough to recognized Mark, so when I finally saw a B Boys video, here on Youtube, I thought I was seeing somebody else--it's so fucking random--LOL LOL!!!

  • Romeo JD was the truth and the standout from the group. I don't know why he never went solo when The Boogie Boys broke up.

  • city life album , great lp

  • That's my cousin (Rome) and his best friend!!!! THIS IS SOOOOO COOL :)

  • is that Mark Mothersbaugh???

  • @johnnykatt LOL Yeah, b. LOL I did a double take, too LOL

  • man rap was so wak what the hell i was thinkinking back in the daY

  • i like this track for kitsch value but one has to admit the lyrics are extremely dopey

  • YOU AIN'T FRESH HU~HU NAW BABY??!!

  • i grew up with this music!!!

  • Wow, this aged surprisingly well! I thought that this was MUCH too commercial back in the day, but this is a BILLION times better than that wack Casio crap that thinks it's down and representin', and all that you hear on the radio today. Nevertheless, I had this on a cassette that I played till it wore out. Peace.

  • there songs are awsome

  • Though I have no problem with this song, this is NOT "You Ain't Fresh" and those that post it as such should be beaten until they scream for mercy.

I DO like "Fly Girl" but I was searching for "You Ain't Fresh." So no, poster... you ain't fresh.

  • @nomadmalachi This is you aint fresh.

  • @Weirdthinkin How did they call it noise when it was them that invented it ?

  • DAMN! This takes me WAY back! Between this, Fly Girl, and Party Asteroid, I was a huge fan of these guys in their heyday!

It's a shame that performers can't be like this any more... they all want to be gangstas and prove how hardcore they are.... so tired and unimpressive.

  • old school rulz!

  • @Weirdthinkin Yea your 100% right. Same with fashion..whats crazy to us..was crazy for our parents, parents and so on. Its like a never ending cycle

  • I have this on 12 inch...bought it when it first came out!.......do they still make vynil

  • where's the other dude

  • This music is still fresh.

  • i didnt know there was a video to this too , i played that track alot

  • wonder what they are doing now...?

  • sigh.. does anyone have a time machine I can borrow when hiphop was the shit?

  • @macksun I agree.

  • I LOVED the Big Crunch Beats of 80's Electro & Hip Hop

  • 3:54 + = exactly what i mean!!

Fat Crunchy Bass & Metalic Snare - Awesome..

BreakDancer was the pinacle of this.

  • I remember they did a astounding sold out show that was FRESH when they played at the Greensboro Coliseum back in 1985 for the Fresh Fest concert starring The Fat Boys,

DJ Marley Marl and Biz Markie and Big Daddy Kane.

  • ever heard of the bizzie boys,, k nice, dj polo

  • OMG is that Booji Boy at 2:55 & 3:14?

  • Yes sir. Look up Boojie Boy on wikipedia.

  • @JohnnyLovelyOfficial Yes, indeed, it is him!! : )

  • go fly dat knot houmbouy!!!! damn i was jst frsh comn out of jhs..

  • i'm glad i found this video. since 1985 i always thought it was "you ain't fresh...just go to hell with yourself", which i always thought was kinda mean...

  • wow, I remember them. this goes back. didn't know there was a video

  • DAAAAAAAANG! I COULDNT THINK OF THE NAME OF THIS GROUP! BUT THIS MADE ME REALLY .

now erry body says " GO 'HEAD WICHA SELF!"

I LOVE THEIR LYRICS ".. I KNOW TIMES ARE HARD BUT THEY AINT THAT HARD! GO BUY YOURSELF SOME RIGHT GUARD!!!..." LMAO 1884 ALL THE WAY... ALSO LOVED "FLY GIRL"

  • love it! always a favourite of mine back in the day. lyrics and video seem a bit cheesey nowadays but still love the bassline.

  • Dope upload!!

Boogie Boys were a major influence for Seattle's own- Emerald City Street Boys.

  • I love the Boogie Boys !!! Thanks for posting this video! :)

  • From back in the day when they had those big simple beats in the background. 1st set of records I bought this song on 45 with a gift certificate from Music Plus along with Roxanne.. the album, and Electric Breakdance. Brings back memories.

  • many thanks for this rap song, last time I heard it about 20 years ago. it is/was my fav.

because of the english is not my native language, unfortunately I don't understand every word in the song. that's why I'd like to ask someone to write down here the whole lyrics exactly.

    thanks in advance.

  • you big bonehead!

  • Ahhhhh, when rap was about blockparties, havin fun, and hangin in the hood with everyone - - - not just a bunch of dumb, violent, wanna-be knuckleheads

  • bring this beat back. NOW!!! Bring it on 21st century!

  • Thanks for posting. Havent seen that since 86!!

  • Lord have mercy, I wasn't sure if I knew this song when I clicked on it. My goodness gracious I haven't heard this in a loooong time!

  • Jumped out tha car like a stuffed man dummy.

  • boogie boys was dope, three albums real innovative at that time, highclass productionwise!

  • Even as kid this video was foolish!

  • lmao...this was the worst video of all time at the time

  • True dat!

  • takes me back to some good days cruising the old z car with my pioneer 6 x 9's

  • doin tha Wop , LOL this jam was hot , Old SCHOOL fa real

  • This was so bad ass and "rad" at the time, this song will always stand up with me.

  • made it Uptown & didn't spend no money...

innovative video for a classic song

  • Yeah! Man, I don't even know why you front...

  • My sister and I laugh hysterically with these lyrics.we have a blast! A barrel of laughs all the time. LOL!

  • That was Awesome

  • The lyrics always make me chuckle.

  • whatever happened to kool ski - keith short an original memebr of the boogie boys on the mike and dave label

  • Actually, William Stroman (r.i.p.) did this song with someone else. I can't remember remmeber the whole story. Stroman got murdered soon after he got out of the Air force. Shady details behind his murder (around 2000 I think). He was going to make a comeback but not with the dudes he was down with. Too long ago to remember all the details.

  • Yes it's true, although he's not it the video William "Boogie Knight" Stroman is the one actually rhyming on this song (he was THE BOOGIE BOYS!) BTW he wasn't murdered, he committed suicide. I knew him well on a personal level and have six finished unreleased tracks from him that we were working on before he died. I've always kept them to myself out of respect for his family (at least his mom) He was a real cool dude with a college degree and I never sensed any trouble with him...sad

  • Thanks for the 411. I didnt know he commited suicide. Brothers was like, "Stroman got killed!". I was coming home from playing ball at Rucker Park when I heard that. Dude did that joint by himself. I tried to figure out when this video came out, why both dudes sounded the same!

    Thanks for the ups, bro!

  • Romeo JD was that DEAL! Where is he?

  • Classic tracks with strange videos. Nevertheless it was and shall ever be classic hip hop.

  • i used to watch this on U 68 ....UHF frequency!! I goes back!

  • I get a bunch of bull on the Earth ... but I get a ton Atomic fun you can't avoid ... on the party Asteroid.

  • SOM DE PRETO, AÍ MALUCO !!!

  • I had this 45 and tape. They didn't havea bad follow up with Romeo Knight either. While Fly Girl and You Ain't Fresh are some solid Classics, the REAL song from that album that someone needs to get and post on You Tube for listening pleasure was "Party Asteroid." Best song off the album in my opinion. Too bad the Boogie Boys' timing was just off. They were just as solid as Whoodini or any other group trying to come up at the time.

  • "Do or Die" and "Running from my Love" were also good songs.

  • BOOM BOOM BAP BOOM BOOM BAP

  • LOL! Classic old school beat, right. I love it!

  • True Classic.

  • Wow that shit is classic!

  • Man, I don't even know why you front on Youtube. You ain't fresh.

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is real talent at work, god I miss those days........

  • I used to own that on 45 rpm. Thank God for justmusicstore, I reclaimed the single/video version on mp3. This mix is hard to find! Anyway that was the cut back in the day, yet it charted so low on the R&B charts.

  • Great song. Red Alert played this song practically every week. Thanks for uploading this, NJBADFELLA.

  • your welcome

  • BEING OLDER THAN hip.hop BY 2 YRS AND HEARING A CLASSICK JUST TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN THROWING DOWN SOME LYRICS OVER A ROCK SAMPLE LIKE THIS IS WORTH EVERYBIT OF LISTENING TOO THERE IS NO VIDEO '''HO'S'' NO GLAM SHOTS NO CHAINS . NO GOLD TEETH AHHHH YES! ! ! 1 1 THIS IS hip.hop. let it RIEGN FOREVER ...BUT WE HAVE TO GET RID OF BUBBLE GUM RAPPER OR SHOULD I SAY WRAPPERS.. • Som de preto, maluco !!!

  • Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo is in this....

  • I thought that was the guy from Devo. How amazing, New Wave and Rap together. Who would've thought of that combo?

  • the guy in the checkered suit is none other than Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO! Booji Boy(mark in a baby mask) also makes an appearance, and the rabbit, could be, Gerry Casale ( devo), maybe....not sure on that one. Devo is street, yo.

funny rap vid, right up there with doo doo brown...lol

this ghettofabuluz trk reeks of de-evolution, along with the orch stabs and the TR-909 drummachine bass sounds. They don't make them like this anymore...(sniff)

  • Hehehe, it's much better hearin that without that vid. What is that in the begining, the straight jacket strut? That video ran outta gaaaas.

  • This is rap music at its best. No foul language, video hoes. Just simple lyrics

  • @trfenner Can't vote you up enough for that statement.

  • Old school nostalgia for real!

  • Classic jam from back in the day!!!

  • The video was filmed while the founding member (Boogie Knight) was still in the Air Force. Kool Ski had already left the group and everybody in the group hated the video. But it is history. Stro RIP. Shout to Phaze 1 who did the Crazy graffix on flyers back then.

  • aw man this use to be the jam. now this was rap back in the day. miss those days

  • dope old school rap tune !!!

  • one of those guys looks like the frontman of the british dance group called Imagination (80's too)

  • that old wow brings me memory
