  • The songs that The Hollies played was written by Albert Hammond, and he gets 33% of the royalties that 'Creep' generates. I've heard Hammond saying it a few weeks ago on the radio as he was here in Argentina promoting his next tour in February.

  • Poor Alan Clarke...lol

  • I recently heard this Hollies song on the radio, I thought to myself, man this sounds a lot like creep by radiohead, Hollies should get some royalies from radiohead, thats just straight out theft, love both songs though. Thought I would google it, apparently I'm not the only one to notice this.

  • @TheOrangeRob i think radiohead credited them from the start

  • @DEATHEXISTFOREVER ya i read on wikipedia after i posted that comment that they credited the hollies on the album, i retract my statement, lol

  • @TheOrangeRob They do. The lawyers for Radiohead noticed this too, and the song is attributed to the original composers as co-writers of Creep.

  • I don't think that 'Dinosaur' band asked Radiohead. I think Radiohead did it of their own accord. Thats kind of a douchy thing to say about the holloes, man.

  • are record companies that picky????? honestly id laugh if some historic dinosaur band wanted my royalties.
