Why they did this i dont know. And through out the series i hated how the Dinobots were not a 5 piece like the construtacons and formed some big Dinosaur robot, that would of been awesome. But yh why Snarl never made the movie beats me! Anyone who know let me know! Thanks.

Seriously, despite coming out of nowhere, most of the new guys in this movie are pretty likeable. Kup, Galvatron, Arcee, Springer, and so on, all have lasting fanbases, and it goes pretty far to make Spike cool (at the cost of subjecting us to Daniel).

But Wheelie is the most annoying character in TF history, edging out Nightscream, Kicker, those kids from Armada, and all Witwickies. Maaaybe the twins from ROTF beat him, but only collectively.

Here's a bit more trivia - When Ultra Magnus gets blasted, you see the Sweeps shoot out long beams and Magnus moaning before exploding. Well, those beams attached to his arms and legs as he was drawn and quartered.

Obviously, this part didn't make the theatrical release and (to my knowledge) no footage of the actual pulling exists because of how disturbing it would be for kids (as if offing Prime and watching robots scream in a vat of acid would somehow be flowers and sunshine).

No, really, he returns. He reappears midway in the 3rd season, but he was being controlled by the Quintessons. He sacrificed himself. This was yet another attempt from Hasbro to annihilate Optimus, but his popularity was still huge. From that episode, he was found, oddly intact, by a human crew, and was later brought back to life near the end of the 3rd season and the Sunbow cartoon in general.
