Sorry for the cliche'd comment but... it's hard to listen to music when you hear a reason for someone leaving you strongly disagree with, I don't know if I can hold any respect for Roy if he really left the band for "God". He says that he needs to settle down a little bit, where the stress of the music world can't touch him. And in my opinion, that's exactly what he needs, instead of turning into one of the artists that are dependent on drugs to keep going.

"Thespian" is a greek word.

The Thespians were ancient Greek civilians. 700 of them fought beside king Leonidas and his 300 Spartans against the army of Persians at the battle of Thermopyles. They all died, but not many people know about their sacrifice, because they all remember only the Spartans.

@ProudModesty From what I hear, Casey has arthritis, so they had to slow things down because he was in a ton of pain after the shows. If it's true, then I commend Casey for playing regardless of the pain. He's an awesome drummer.

@TheRealVahnLegaia He does. The Q&A on the One Cold Winter's Night DVD asks him how he copes. He puts his hands in ice cold water after every show, and you can visibly see him in pain on the concert of the same DVD.

Its a massive shame - Grillo is one of my favourite drummers.

@ProudModesty Last Two albums? I thought Black Halo was as awesome as the other albums. Ghost Opera had some boring songs, but also some good songs. It was the worst they've done, but it doesn't mean it was bad. Poetry however is imo the best shit they've done so far!

I hope sonata Arctica goes the same way. Days of Grace is the worst they've done (although not so bad)... I hope their next album will be better.

@MuffinJinReturns Their last two albums are Ghost Opera and Poetry for the Poisoned, that's the two I was talking about, The Blanck Halo is kick-ass. But I have to admit, a haven't listened much to this last album, so I can't really judge it already, but it seams that there are many of those songs with that slow beat simmilar to the Ghost Opera beat. Anyway, it seams to me that they have become to much symphonic and to less power metal, just my oppinion xD
