Question Who invented the Internet? Answer A single person did not create the Internet that we know and use today. Below is a listing of several different people who've helped contribute and develop the Internet.
Introduction of the Internet to the general public
UCLA puts out a press release introducing the public to the Internet on July 3, 1969.
Funny, The top comment is wholly inaccurate. The TU-144 was pulled from commercial service in 1973 due to two crashes during testing and demonstration shows. And it was released 2 weeks earlier than the Concorde, however, it was put into development later than the Concorde.
It blows up because of extrmal G-force. Extrmal G-force was caused by attemp to stop the critical diving. Its still unknown the cause of critical diving - investigation found no technical malfunction before the diving.
Deez Russian TU-144 eez der bestest gooood plane, even better than zee Concord beecauzzz eet flyees a leetle faster. Ok, so eet blow up for no apparent reason??
Russian pricks! - here in the (civilised) west, we value passenger's lives too ("we were first" and "it is faster" don't matter on commercial aeroplanes)...oh, and "American = idiot" - I agree vodka boy, but what the fuck have the stupid yanks got to do with Concorde??? KNOBSKI !!!!!
@justdarrenthankyou In USSR and now Russia Passegners life is very important moar important thatn profit the Tupolev was better as the Concorde in some points. Booth were beuitifull flying ladies. And this Men hasnt done anything to you dont talk in this way to him. Be nice and if write neutral.
Another quality piece of Soviet-era engineering. Nice !
Funny how the Russkis managed to produce a near identical copy of the Concorde - just when the British and French were developing theirs. I wonder if there could have been a Soviet spy in the British civil service (yes, just a few hundred) passing over the technical plans.
Mind the Russians still couldn't get it right. Ha ha.
@timrs2001 the russians were trying to steel the blue prints foe the joint British/ French concord so the British secret service MI6 planted some fake ones and the russians fell for it and built it and as you can see it didnt work to well

@jjabroni56 Maybe this is not a matter of my concern, but if you have no relevant data on the Tu-144 to offer but rather nonsense cyberbulling, pointless fanfarre and childish tantrums, better for you to post no comment at all. Go to (primary) school, learn to speak propperly and show a little bit of wisdom by been more respectful with people, okay? Disagreeing is fine, but there´s a gap between that and insulting for trivial things. Just pathetic. Come on, grow up and be mature. You can do it.
@jjabroni56 If you´re referring to the "fuck you America" or to the "buttmunch" bit (or to any other), I still think the same way: do you seriously care so much about just a random individual like any other throwing tantrums? I wouldn´t. And in fact I don´t when someone insults my nationality. It´s their problem only. For me, they´re like those stupid tiny dogs that bark nonstop. Nothing serious you should care about, but rather a show to have fun with while eating some popcorns...
@ReDDDgo You kids have no clue about engineering. Similar requirements with similar knowledge lead to similar solutions. Nobody had 2 or 3 powerful enough engines, so they used as few as possible, that is four. The supersonic wing shape was recently became known. The delta wing gives very high AOA and the nose cannot be made entirely of glass, so it has to be moved left, right up or down for landing, up or down being symmetric, down deflection is smaller and allows classic window etc.
@ReDDDgo Do not talk shit the Concorde came first and the USSR copied it or tried to. The aircraft failed miserably and never got anywhere, as for being safer how the hell did you work that one out when it crash at the Paris Air Show and never entered service? The USSR had a history of copying western airliners eg. VC-10 (IL-62), Vickers Vanguard (IL-18), B727 (TU-154) need i go on. Oh and by the way a copy is something that is based on an original design, the concorde was the original design
@ReDDDgo Bullshit dearie . Anglo-French design was first .
And they KNEW you mongol peons would try to steal the plans and copy it so a slightly altered set was prepared which your agents duly broke in and stole .
So you duly built something without doing due development work , assuming the plans you'd pinched meant you didn't have to . And this was the result .
Nothing wrong with Russian Aircraft designers , nor most of what they produce . Should stop locking them up in camps maybe !
@ReDDDgo concorde has better flight records, and much safer.tu crashed MULTIPLE crashes, while concorde only crashed once.they even started using concordes for passenger travels before tu,the concorde came out like 2 months after? or atleast testflights?, i would know cuz i been on a couple of concorde flights before it crashed. and how u know its a copy? many aircraft look alike but are vastly different. exmple, the russian havoc and the us apache. just saying.
@ReDDDgo you need to make some research. that airplane exploited in the first flight and it was 3 months before than the concorde also it was prove that aerospatiale had exactly the same design of the tu-144 but they discarded that one because had alot of problems.
1.) The Tu-144 is based upon blueprints for the Concorde stolen from Aérospatiale. It was NOT been created earlier.
2.) The thing burned more fuel than a Convair, which is really saying something.
3.) The Concorde had only one fatal crash in its entire 34 years of operational history, one that was attributed to a foreign object, while the "Charger" had two fatal crashes in its entire 10 years of operation. It's not safer.
@ReDDDgo Apart from the convictions and well-known espionage that took place by the Russians in order to produce the Tu-144... Stealing both initial development plans and complete schematics of the landing gear, braking system and airframe couldn't have helped!
Not to mention its rushed design implementation resulting in a shocking number of accidents during and after development. Tupolev struggled so much to create the aircraft that they had to seek help from the Concorde teams.
@ReDDDgo It's true that the TU-144 was flown about 2 months before the Concord.but the Concorde was finished 6 yrs before(1957) on the drawing boards before the Soviets ever started working on the 144 after after the world class Soviet Economic Espionage Service Stole it from the French/British aviators. And it's recorded as the most unsafe passenger craft ever in less then 195 hrs of transport had 225+failures.Do some research Buds Mr simply Logic.Merry Xmas
@ReDDDgo Are you joking or not? Because Concorde is about 50 times safer than the 144, its top speed is faster but it can only sustain that for 30 mins - it's max sustainable speed was well below Concorde's, it never flew more than 50 passengers, worse heat dissipation, louder cabin, handled worse, used more fuel, and never completed a flight without at least 10 faults on board. Plus, Concorde started development earlier. So sorry mate, but you're wrong.
@ReDDDgo Ah ah ! It is wordly well known that the Tupolev is for a good part a copy of the Concorde. It was called "Concordoff" or "Concordski" at its time. Two russian spies Sergei Pavlov and Sergei Fabiev has been arrested with part of Concorde plans ! Don't say stupidities
You must be trolling right? Otherwise this is the most fail logic ever.
Let me rip apart everything you have posted.
1) Cruise Speed of concord is faster and top speed is debatable. There is almost no info on the take-off length of the Tu-144 so I call bullshit on your claim of a shorter take-off distance. The service ceiling is also less on the Tu-144.
2) Concorde development started before the Tu-144 however the Tu-144 did enter service before Concorde. However after numerous crashes it was removed from passenger service. Also there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that shows the Tu-144 was built using stolen Concorde designs.
So hence the Tu-144 is nothing but a cheap and useless knock-off.
Your post is fallacy.
There are many superior soviet aircraft designs. This is NOT one of them.
@RasterGraph I also used the term "enter service' parenthetically due to the fact that merely carrying a little over 3000 passengers over 55 commercial flights can hardly be considered service of any kind. Think they did more mail flights than passenger flights...
Hi dobrovolets777 thanks for your comments, I said they stole the plans (blueprints) not the planes, with regard to further information, I can tell you only that where I am I could throw a stone at several hundred airframe and engine technicians try looking up wikipedia and take a look at the technical issues surrounding this aircraft it was clearly a danger to all in or near it, so complain to Wiki if you like but the the facts are reliable if you don't want to believe it then don't simples
@greyderH2 всё очень просто...большинство отмечающихся на подобных темах американцев утверждают, что советы украли чертежи конкорда и создали Ту-144 со своими изменениями, поэтому он и потерпел катастрофу...зомби, что поделаешь.
The Russians stole the plans for Concorde, and being the greedy vain idiots they are they changed them to make the plane bigger tipping the scales aerodynamicaly hence the need for the Canards at the front the aeroplane was always going to be more fragile than Concorde as it was built in a hurry in order to beat Concorde in to the skies the usual Soviet abandonment of safety, sacrifice of its citizens in order get 2 minutes of glory
@andawsbro what do you know about it? have you ever worked with russian intelligence or constructor bureau that you say this (they stole the planes)? or it is only your blahblahblah?
TU-144 = faster and higher than Concord(e) . If the french mirage jet was not in the sky unannounced on that day it would never have had to perform evasive manouvers and bunt the engines to flame out, resulting in a dive to try and restart them. The pull up is what over stressed and folded the aircraft. French spies taking pictures.
when you read the comments here the only idea - how the americans could construct Appolon, Boening-747 or F-15??? where all these people are? how can the normal man talk "they stole it" about two ABSOLUTELY different jets??? :((( mmm...fucking mcdonald`s...
Right lets get this straight, the ruskies were trying to steal sectrect from the concorde program, the details were given but slightly tampered with so that they would produce an unstable aircraft. The french and the brits have both admitted to their engineers being approached by russian spies at the time.
@gash2024 hmm...TU-144 - the first flight date - 31 december 1968......The Tu-144 first broke the sound barrier on 5 June 1969, and on 15 July 1969 and became the first commercial transport to exceed Mach 2.
Concord - First flown in 1969, Concorde entered service in 1976 ...
@gash2024 oh, another stupid yankee! :)))) TU-144 flew for severals years without ANY (!!!) incident! It was only TOO expensive for the communist economy!!! Did you remember how much the ticket to Concorde cost? So the ticket to TU-144 was 20 times less!!!! and nobody can rise the prise due to the system! To my mind IT WAS the really reason why its flights were stopped (not that crash)... go to school teenager!
@MyBeautifulRussia I'm American, but come on - every country has their idiots. More Americans are online; therefore you see more idiots. Trust me, I hate them too.
@MyBeautifulRussia By the way this aircraft (the first part anyway) is a prototype Tu-144 that crashed at the paris airshow in 1973. Here is a little more interesting glimpse at the airplane watch?v=Nq6mKdRIKv0, and yes, unfourtunately it appears xcalozorz is right, even though his "diction" is less than perfect, he has put forth the correct hypothosis that the soviets "coppied" the concorde :)
@MyBeautifulRussia Not ALL Americans are idiots. It's just too bad that a lot of the idiots speak up here on youtube...gives the intelligent people a bad name. I guess they just want attention and this is the only way they know how.
Anyway, greetings from the US. Просто выходят идиоты здесь :)
You're either ignorant or trolling but it's not a bomber (clearly) it's a supersonic passenger jet like Concorde. It's is theorised it crashed at a Paris airshow after performing an evasive maneouvre when a French Mirage was flying too close. It is believed the Mirage was attempting to get photos of the planes advanced canard structures. The Tu-144 broke apart in mid air.
The local network ARPANET created in the USA on the basis of inventions of Pole Paul Baran, wasn't the Internet. The founder of the Internet Englishman Timothy John Berners-Lee
@Vyun1969 LOL! Thanks for showing your ignorance on Youtube (American invention). Please Google (American invention) "Who invented the internet" (American invention). Your assertion that Paul Baran "invented the internet" is LAUGHABLE! Americans (as usual) brought the internet (and invented it) to the world. Also, are you on a laptop (American invention, Andrew osborne) or a PC (American invention). Give me a call on your iPhone (American invention)! LOL!
@Paskovitchz The internet was invented in the USA by DARPA. They created DARPANET in 1969 which was the first packet switching network, and in the 1970s they created TCP/IP, with DARPANET becoming 100% TCP/IP in 1983 - a large TCP/IP network, i.e. an internet. The World Wide Web i.e. the idea of having interlinked pages of hypertext *on* the internet, was invented in Britain in 1990.
@Vyun1969 RAND Corporation (Research ANd Development) is a nonprofit global policy think tank first formed to offer research and analysis to the United States armed forces by Douglas Aircraft Company. It is currently financed by the U.S. government and private endowment, corporations including the healthcare industry, universities and private individuals.....of whom Paul Baran worked for....with that kind of thinking.. Nazis got us to the Moon. (Wernher von Braun) not trying to be tacky.
Semantics but... what Berners-Lee and the others at CERN created was the World Wide Web, which is an utilization of the Internet. The "Internet" as such is not really an invention in itself, it is just a widespread computer network... saying any one person or group "invtented" the situation when more and more computers started to get connected it is a bit like saying someone invented speech (but the invention of computer networking delivered the tool needed for Internet to happen).
In the next runway a Mirage with a photo-reconnaissance equipment takes off and cut the Tu144 trajectory, to avoid a collision tu144 make a hard turn, of 5g.
Some people says this causes the airplane enter in lose and consequent crashing, supposedly the aircraft doesn´t suport so much g (acceleration) from the climb and turn at same time, but the soviet authorities like usual don´t make any statement.
You don´t see the mirage in this video because his low quality.

@MyAccount4TrollingU SHOVE IT UP YOUR FUCKING ASSHOLE YOU STINKING CUNT. FOUND YOUR WMD YET HAVE YOU??? BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAA!!! NIGGER PRESIDENT!! NIGGER!!!!!
My granddad (an aviation geek, much like the rest of the family) told me once that the guy who crashed in this shot was actually one of the best pilots available to Soviet aerobatics teams at the time, and had been instructed to fly "like a fighter pilot" in his usual aircraft, which at this time wouldve been an early-variant Flanker. Supposedly the purpose was to showcase the superior maneuverability of the aircraft vs the Concorde, which was flying the same day only several hours later. Shame.
The Russians should stick to what they are really good at, which is making aircraft that are simple, rugged, and reliable. Their space vehicle, the Soyuz, is based on this design philosophy and it is still in service after decades. The American Space Shuttle? Never lived up to it's expectations and is now grounded.

1. Tu-144 has the best technical characteristics, than the Concorde (faster, can fly above, it is required smaller is long runway, more safe etc.).
2. Tu-144 has been created earlier than the Concord.
Hence, the Concorde is copy of Tu-144.

Don't say stupidities
musiclas1 1 month ago
@ReDDDgo
Round one CONCORDE.
RasterGraph 1 month ago
@ReDDDgo
RasterGraph 1 month ago
@RasterGraph The -144 entered "service" long after the Concorde - although it did beat the Concorde into the air by a few months...
beeroosterm 1 month ago
@beeroosterm
Yes sorry. I did use "enter service" incorrectly.
RasterGraph 1 month ago
@RasterGraph I also used the term "enter service' parenthetically due to the fact that merely carrying a little over 3000 passengers over 55 commercial flights can hardly be considered service of any kind. Think they did more mail flights than passenger flights...

@ReDDDgo yes, thats because it exploded in the air

Hi dobrovolets777 thanks for your comments, I said they stole the plans (blueprints) not the planes, with regard to further information, I can tell you only that where I am I could throw a stone at several hundred airframe and engine technicians try looking up wikipedia and take a look at the technical issues surrounding this aircraft it was clearly a danger to all in or near it, so complain to Wiki if you like but the the facts are reliable if you don't want to believe it then don't simples

Did you remember how much the ticket to Concorde cost? So the ticket to TU-144 was 20 times less!!!! and nobody can rise the prise due to the system! To my mind IT WAS the really reason why its flights were stopped (not that crash)... go to school teenager!

Some people says this causes the airplane enter in lose and consequent crashing, supposedly the aircraft doesn´t suport so much g (acceleration) from the climb and turn at same time, but the soviet authorities like usual don´t make any statement.
You don´t see the mirage in this video because his low quality.

Shame.
