  • I'm a singer....this is going in playlist for when I need inspiration.

  • @jennysimply ,the track is obviously perfect as it is because it came from Frances Gumm a.k.a.Judy Garland herself

  • Looks like they had a 20 year old trying to play a 15 year old. Like WizardOfOzfan94 said, Judy always did stop the show...in my opinion, the only one who came anywhere close to the real Judy was the girl who portrayed Judy in the "Meet Me in St. Louis" era

  • How old was she in this?

  • When Judy says the "I don't know where that voice comes from" and Roger responds with "It's a gift". Her response of "does that mean it can be taken away?" is so genuine to think that Judy was so fearful that her talent could simply just dissappear and that deep down inside as the legend that we know her as today, we realize that no matter what, she was human just like the rest of us, and all she wanted was to be loved unconditionally.

  • Nobody likes who I am

I think we all can feel like that once in a while

  • Wait, was that the woman in true blood?

  • Where can I find this song?

  • @DoctorHP7 Amazon. You can download the MP3. Well...that's where I got it from, anyway. XD

  • I cry when I hear her voice

  • great casting

  • "Julie Garden"

  • "But nobody likes who I am"

Broke my heart when she said that...

  • i really have to see this film :D i love this scene so much her voice gives me chilld <3

  • @queensofia123 you really should parts are pretty dark but its an amazing movie

  • @WizardOfOzfan94 It might seem like it is being highly dramatized but in reality this how it actually happened.

  • Tammy Blanchard is such a great lipsyncer!

  • Great scene, but in the midst of this young girl's shocking genius, we are reminded that she is just a kid, a young girl who simply wants to know, "Do you think I'm pretty" which is a question that no one could hold against a child.

  • Um...it's the original recording from 1938. Not so much they can do with original mono recordings but clean the track up a bit, which it is.

  • @friendsfamilyaccount but fortunately if they do it again, they can use the decca demo tests as a part of it - and everyone can hear how good Judy was before her voice training

  • wow goose bumps from the real judy garland voice.

  • @305chonga i got goose bumps too!!

  • @ziggycat999 Actually Judy's daughter Lorna said she got that from people over the years telling her when Judy would rehearse for a radio show people would stand outside the studio and just listen to her sing.
