every tutorial seems to say that the Werm is a "Simple/Beginner card flourish." This, in my opinion, is not correct. This is not a beginner's flourish, this is a beginner's XCM 'display' or 'trick'. Beginner flourishes are things like waterfalls, fans, dribbling and springing etc. all the basic stuff. Don't try and make yourself out to be really good just by telling us how simple this should be by saying it's a beginner's flourish.

The Werm taught by Dan and Dave is a bit cleaner than this method, but this is still very nice.

Actually, that's a bit off.

If you are really interested, go to theory11.com and get it in the 1 on 1 section for about 5 dollars. Dan and Dave teach it amazingly. I learned it very very quickly, and your hands don't have to be that big.

Thanks so much. the only vid on youtube where i actually understood how to spread the cards. and for those of you that dont get it, when you pull the last card from the deck to fill the middle of the box, the card you might notice is too short to reach your left thumb and your right pinky. just turn the card enough so it is at the angle that it would be if it did fit and spread the cards out like normal and when you do that your pinky and thumb will get closer to eachother and wil grab the card.

@asthmaticcat237 that is the part taht took me the longest the extending part was hard... remember after you grab the card with the pinky u push from the middle to hold the upper packet with your other thumb before you exten

Theres a better way to rotate the 4. package... Give some presure on the lower part of the deck (with the indexfinger), and turn the card with your indexfinger for about 30° around your middle finger and "grab" the card with your left pinky... It allows you to perform the werm much faster and I find it looks better too...
