OMG, I just said the same thing yesterday. My family bred birds when I was younger so now that I have my own apt, it seems weird to have no pets. I want a parakeet or a cockatiel.

Get a Yorkie! No birds, they can't run and play & greet you at the door. I see you with a cute lil pup with a pink ribbon! One that you can dress up. Maybe 4 or 5 pounds.

I have had birds and they are loud and messy. I loved them, but they were my husbands birds. We had an african greys for many years and a Jardine parrot. The African grey died (cancer) and the Jardine parrot my husband gave away to a friend, because he traveled to much to take care of her. I wasn't trying to clean out a bird cage. lol little to icky for me. I have a 4yr old to clean up after #knowwhatI'msaying. Good luck

@msmarket1 I know what yo mean, they are quite messy, my mom has a big loud bird, but he's only loud if we're loud or if someone just gets home, he lets everyone know it LOL! The cage cleaning part is horrid though :x

yea that driving trick works i do it most times after work when traffic is heavy lol the birds are so pretty i just wish i wasnt scared of ALL animals i would get pets but had a bad experience with a dog on two diff occasions once while little and that just ruined it for me ugh *sad face*
