@mikealphaxray228 I don't know the exact weight but for its sizes it's extremely light. I would guess it to be somewhere between 5-10 lbs. I would have it on for hours at parties and it would never feel heavy.

This is truly incredible I'm a sculptor in my free time the costume is beautifully done, I have one question though what did you cover the sections of foam board you used for the legs with prior to painting them?

@MrArtistic3 Nothing but paint. What you are seeing is just a base coat. In hind sight I wish I would have painted them with fiberglass resin. The foam is soft and drunken party goers were rough on it!

Just an idea if you haven't done already. You put a small speaker in the back of the mouth, powered by 2 contactors on the inside of the jaw. Record the dinosaurs scream or whatever sound it makes so every time the mouth opens, and the contactors separate, it will trigger the scream from the speaker.

May i make a small suggestion for possible future projects? i've seen people using a skeleton divided in three parts inside the tail. you should use that in your costumes so the tail would move more realistically from side to side while you walk. awesome work!

@gabo20012 velociraptors had no feathers on their heads. deynonichus is wrong spelled, correct name is deinonychus. They DID had feathers on their heads, but also in their legs arms and tail. They're from the velociraptors family. So, i guess this is a mixed raptornichus :P
