Should I get this or the Black Monster? The BM is kinda cheaper than this? I'm torn. How bright is the lume on this watch compared to BM? thanks in advance.
Seiko SKXJ173 or Seiko SKXK173...I noticed J stand for Made in Japan and like $10.00 more expensive/ K stand for Made in Malaysia or Singapore or somewhere (NOT JAPAN) I called Seiko and they said that. For me, I prefer Made in Japan, if you compare 2 watches, the 1 made in Japan look nicer.
- Just like you guys buy FORD,CHEVROLET must be Made in the USA
BMW made in Germany, Renault Made in France.......99cents store MADE IN CHINA (I watched this very close now) US feed them so much!
Are Seiko SKX007, skx009 and included this one. Are they the same machine inside? Size 41mm 42mm..but quality about machine (why call movements..Vietnamese called machine) the same?
- For the first few months, my Seiko Orange Monster (same movements with yours right?) run little slow and after "BREAK IN" now it can hold +/- 0.00 30 seconds for 1 month.
- For 7s26 automatic (not quartz) is OK for me and whoever want more more on time then buy Seiko Solar or Seiko Kinetic....I love Automatic!
Hi there, I just have a sort of newbie question I guess. I'm new to the diver's watch scene and i just recently purchased this watch, and i noticed that the day changes from english to spanish. Is there a way that I can keep it in just english or does it normally go from english to spanish? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
English is an universal language no matter you want or not. Japanese language because Seiko Company is from Japan and like a proudly for Japanese people are used their skill and brain to serve for the world and put their language there like to tell the world that..YES, BABY..US..It's Japanese belong....Everybody have something to proud for their country is normal!. (SEIKO, NO MADE IN CHINA!)
The Seiko has been keeping good time when I wear it.I would say about 5-6 seconds a day fast.Have not worn it for a while.Most of the time I wear a Timex Ironman.

Anyone know if a seiko watch that says its water resistant 30 meters,does that mean it would be ok if i wash my hands or if i accidentally jump in the shower with it , or a prick throws me in the pool and the watch will still work? even with no fog whatsoever? im not a diver i just need a new watch and im used to wearing one daily my old one just got douched will it make it through the things i described if the watch says 30 meters is that statement accurate

@TheJosephTurner It's an automatic movement, as opposed to quartz. It's supposed to move like that -- it's called a "sweep" second hand.

The BM is brighter because it has more lume materal on it.The BM is also heavier.
