I'm a Bears fan. I have read so many other fans questioning Unga's speed. Let me tell you, I don't think they got him so he can be a burner. I think they drafted him for been more of a bruiser. His got the size and great speed to be a great fullback. I hope that's what they use him for. Martz last yr used a tight-end for that position. I think he knows the fullback position has been lost to just blocking, if they can utilize him, in the pass and run why not? And, I hope they make him a Fullback.

We been having this dude for almost a year now, I don't know much about him but here goes my 2 cents: doest have good speed, looks as if he's not a bruiser nor a speed guy, he's an average ball carrier, kinda like a mashawn lynch, I think the bears should give him a try, keep forte, unga, and the last spot shiuld go to taylor who might be let go or a reall speed back and Wolfe (for special teams) 4RB sounds fine.

What do my Bears fans think? Are we going to develope this guy into a fullback? I like him, his talented. I want to keep G.Wolfe, and or K.Bell. This guy is around 6'1 roughly, and 244 pounds. He's also suppose to be monster strong. He would be a better additiion than the other two full backs we got so far. If any can develope him into a great receiving back, it would be Martz. And if anyone can develope him into a better blocker, it would be Coach Tice.

@paint1487 I totally agree on using him as a fullback. His knock from alot of coaches was that his not a very good blocker. So teams were doubtfull of picking him up and using him as a fullback. I think coach Tice can fix that problem. I like K. Bell alot, but I think G. Wolfe is a way better fit than Bell, I would love for them to run screens designed for Wolfe. This is the offense this guy is build for. Especially in the 20, Wolfe and now Unga as a fullback, I see us scoring alot.

Jerrome Bettis was THE BUS before he was called THE BUS. He is a whole differ. calibur than Unga. Unga doesnt run like the bus nor have his power. He should stay one more year and show scouts that he can block.. NFL is entirely a whole differ. league. Lindell White is way better than Unga when he was in college, so there is no comparison.

NFL? Too slow and too big to be an NFL HB. Better stay one more year and start convincing NFL Scouts you can block, then you may have a better chance to be an NFL FB. I think his style suits the West Coast Offence: use him as a receiver to the flats and change it up with surprising runs- helps keep the defence unbalance.

If your going with "Speed" I would have to say Florida produces the fastest football players, as well as some of the most athletic players. And I'm from Cali. But overall talent wise, I would say California & Texas is the hot bed for D1A caliber players. But Utah is coming up...
