No they are not..Lambrettas are far more classy....LOL.Plus the engine is ofset in a Vespa............other than a scooter not the same.Plus a genuine Italian Lambretta (later made in India and Spain) will set you back £1000 plus for a wreck......and the ones on our club stand £4000-£15000 upwards.Generaly a decent one £3-£5000.I'm big into Superbikes,but I would only ever own a Lambretta scooter myself!!.Vespas are generally more reliable than tuned Lambrettas..
