lol! i saw that part of the BET awards with my friend and frankly.......it kinda scared us. lol we were on the floor laughing. my friend pointed out that jho's "wig" looked like it was falling off and i said i thought she looked kinda like a muppet. her voice didn't help either cuz it was scratchy and made you think she was going to eat you. i know she was once a great singer but her performance was very disturbing 0.o luv u buck.

Jen Holiday's performance of the song was great--20 years ago when she sang relevant and soulful emotion and skill back in the play version. At the BET awards Jen Holiday was over-the-top bad, from her murdered notes, to her near screeches and screams, to her weird expressions. Jen Holiday's theatrics only served to highlight the loveliness of Jen Hudson's performance and did nothing to further endear her own history with the song--except to sully it a bit.
